NCAA Hoops 2025-26
Score was a decent reflection of how that game went. It wasn't window-dressing - BYU had the ball down 5 with 40 seconds left. Cougs were absolutely competitive for 40 minutes. He's 54 years old. He's probably not retiring - that's just my guess though. He made a Final Four five years ago.

Yep, give me a working app where all I have to do is say my name when I walk in. Deals & customizations are then already handled. But hey, that presupposes a working app. I was maybe 500 yards from Arby’s yesterday when shit was borked, went to Sonic for the $6 Smasher deal instead.

The "discreet" or "stealth" MAGA hats - those people are fucking cowards. They want their inner voice to cheer themselves on for being Trump supporters, but they are too ashamed and too cowardly to wear The Red Hat.

Yep, get together a few or your Republican buddies like Boebert and a couple of the others that actually care about the files, and threaten to side with the Dems. Hell, do it, and force a vote for a new Speaker, side with the Dems on the vote, get a Dem Speaker, and then go apeshit over the files.

He’s been coaching for too long. If you are at the point he is where you say things like that to a reporter it’s probably time to retire. He won’t, but he should.

NCAA Hoops 2025-26
BYU with more window dressing at the end to make a non-competitive game against a good team look closer than it was. Still yet to beat a quality opponent (Nova and Clemson are decidedly not that) and the only chance they have to do it is now to beat a Tech team at home at the end of the regular season with no Toppin. I’ll take Tech to win that game short-handed. They are a 10 seed and should be done by the first weekend at the latest. Also that really sucks for Tech to lose Toppin like that. Leaves four teams now capable of a deep run in the tournament from the Big XII.

I like their food but I may be 86ed from my local Arby's. At least, I don't plan on returning anytime soon. The last time I went I tried to hand them a coupon at the drive thru. That was my first mistake apparently. The ensuant shitshow was like nothing I've ever seen. Like if you handed a loaded Glock 19 to a bunch of lemurs (are lemurs non race-sensitive? because this isn't a race thing - they were all equally stupid). It resulted in me saying "Why don't you all learn how to do your jobs" and then driving away without anything that I'd paid for. I have a lot of compassion and sympathy but at some point I expect basic customer service. At least show me that you are attempting to solve the issue - which was never an issue to begin with if one person in the establishment knew how to handle a coupon. This is why I cook my own meals now more than ever. Welcome to corporate hellscape America.

Dry Aging meats
Dry aging meats is a craft that truly elevates both flavor and texture, giving beef a richer and more concentrated taste profile. The controlled environment allows natural enzymes to break down muscle fibers, resulting in exceptional tenderness. Many processors rely on precise equipment like a dicing machine to ensure uniform cuts before or after aging for consistent results. Proper airflow, humidity, and sanitation are essential to achieve premium quality safely. When done correctly, dry aging delivers an unmatched depth of flavor that stands out. -

I still remember when I drove by Dealey Plaza and there were about 100 morons out there expecting JFK Jr to resurrect and lead Trump to overthrowing Biden and take control of the government.

Trump’s America
The Most Powerful Crime Syndicate in History It is time to acknowledge what has become tragically obvious: the Trump administration is essentially acting as a massive criminal enterprise. It lies, steals, extorts and murders – all while cloaked in the awesome authority of the state. It is on a crime spree that puts Al Capone to shame. This is not hyperbole or hyperventilation. It is our reality, as the facts amply demonstrate. This administration has: • Murdered Renee Good and Alex Pretti, slandered them as “domestic terrorists” and “assassins,” and allowed their killers to walk free; • Unleashed thousands of minimally trained ICE agents, recruited with explicitly white supremacist messaging, to inflict terror on people of color; Repeatedly violated the constitutional rights of citizens and non-citizens by arresting them for First Amendment-protected speech, raiding their homes without judicial warrants, and imprisoning them without due process; • Killed dozens of civilians on the high seas solely on the unsubstantiated claim that they were drug runners (not that being drug runners would justify their summary executions without due process anyway); Released hundreds of imprisoned felons who brutally beat Capitol police officers on January 6; • Converted the once-independent Department of Justice into an instrument of personal retribution via the prosecution of cooked-up lawsuits against the President’s enemies; • Threatened to seize the territory of a sovereign nation (a NATO ally no less); • Sought to imprison United States Senators simply for exercising their free speech rights by reminding military personnel of their undisputed duty to disobey illegal orders; • Tried to impose ruinous and unconstitutional sanctions on some of the country’s largest law firms simply because Trump doesn’t like them; • Violated court orders on a massive scale. As the Chief District Judge of Minnesota recently wrote, “ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence;” • Shaken down some of the country’s largest universities by illegally threatening to withhold funding; and • Engaged in breathtaking corruption: as the conservative writer David Frum stated, “Trump’s scale of stealing and bribe-taking has never been remotely paralleled in any democratic country ever before.” And that’s just for starters; there are dozens more examples. It is difficult to comprehend the level of state-sponsored criminality we are witnessing because our country has never experienced anything like it. It is also difficult to absorb because it is happening so quickly, and on so many different fronts. In the words of the 2022 movie, it sometimes feels like “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” And that can be exhausting, numbing, and overwhelming. But viewing the Trump administration as a massive crime syndicate allows us to be clear-eyed about what is coming down the road, and to plan accordingly. To take the most urgent example, there ought to be no question as to whether Trump will try to steal the midterm elections. Of course he will try to steal them. Criminals gonna crime. He tried to steal the 2020 elections, and the lack of any consequences for that supremely traitorous act only further emboldened him. It is every patriotic American’s duty to oppose the coming effort to nullify the will of the voters. That this administration can reasonably be viewed as a criminal enterprise should not be cause for despair. The courts have rejected many of the administration’s power grabs and unconstitutional or illegal acts. The President is less popular than he has ever been. Prominent Republicans are defying him more than ever. The brave citizens of Minneapolis are showing us how effective organized resistance can be. And Bad Bunny, with his Super Bowl message that “The only thing more powerful than hate is love,” gave us reason to believe that kindness, compassion and decency will prevail. https://www.nydailynews.com/2026/02/18/the-most-powerful-crime-syndicate-in-history/

You can transfer them now, but true to greed, all transfers have to happen on the fifa platform. Which makes it very difficult to sell them on any other platform. I'm assuming they're going to take a big chunk out of that sales earnings. It is crazy Fifa hasn't assigned seats yet. So you have tickets but no idea what seats they are. Just a general area of the stadium. I got tickets for a knockout stage game but my parents might also be interested in buying 2 or 3 of those in Houston from you.

Because I was confused by your sane assessment and what I heard as the man was arrested, I searched and found a news report of the incident. Yes, the man went over his allotted time, (claiming he was “reclaiming the time lost” due to audience applause,) but, no, after watching the video, I didn’t hear him be asked to leave. Watch, and listen, for yourself. Maybe I don’t hear so well when there’s a hullabaloo.
