Horrible bowl name, but the best matchup outside the NY6 (only one involving two ranked team). We're apparently favored by 1 point. Not sure why. Hubbard won't play. Tylan Wallace will play. Spencer Sanders is still a turnover machine. Gundy tends to let loose in meaningless bowl games so maybe we will actually have a decent offensive performance. Either way, hopefully it's a good mid-afternoon game before you guys throttle Colorado.

Well that one was definitely PI, no-call. I know you guys think otherwise, but we get fucked as much as anyone by refs.

Did Gundy not watch Mack Brown take these guys to the wood shed?  It's Manny D. You can run on these guys if you try. Remove the QB rushes, and OSU only has about 20 rushes at the end of the 3rd.  Just hit the A and B gaps over and over.

That was definitely PI.  The DB never looked for the ball.

I'm not sure that's really a thing anymore. And for the record, it's called a Poke Choke. It rhymes and evertthing.

And that was not PI on the pass that wasn't within 5 yards of the poke receiver. Refs are trash.

Wallace decided to sit the 2nd half.

Ok Tylan Wallace what does that mean? Lulz on the announcer.

Tylan Wallace opted out of the second half. That's a new one for me.

Thinks he’ll make the NFL and watched the Canes QB go down

Player quits on his team during game.  Yep that will help his draft chances.

Probably after seeing the King injury, he made a business decision...

Been banged up this season too

Lol, if you really think the NFL doesn't fully understand these things.

Sure. It looked like it buckled just before the hit. That's more of a September injury and not December.

When I was an undergrad there in the late 80s we called it the Cow Choke. Went with alliteration over rhyme.

Because the NFL is all about character and integrity

well give Gundy credit for not totally throwing his player under the bus

And anyone who has followed Wallace's career know that character and integrity are not an issue with him, at all. These are business decisions. I can believe they agreed that he would only play a half. Definitely different, but I can't imagine he just told Gundy at halftime that he was done. I think they had to have discussed it during gameplanning.

He wouldn’t. Remember the I’m a man I’m 40 speech. He’s not that guy. He might be a lot of other things but throwing the players under the bus guy isn’t him. Now Tom Herman...

I don’t believe it, but at least it’s plausible if they wanted to show healthy reps.

im not one to fault a kid for sitting out it was just weird to see it happen mid game.

That actually makes perfect sense. He missed the end of last season and had missed the last several games this season. Those early catches showed he's healthy going into draft season.

That was the worst successful fake run I've ever seen. How do you bite on that silly fake run? Good thing we scored off that last turnover.

GhostOfTomJoad

Does Miami think trying to run 6'4, 190# Perry on a QB draw makes sense?

Unless it was a setup for the fake on 4th down that went for 45, don't do it.

Should be a good finish.  Miami is pretty chokey too.

Not sure how many starters are out on defense for Okie Lite, but their defense tonight keeps going for the first fake almost every time...
