Sorry about the delay but my weekend was full--DC concerts and sporting events. Yeah, I love DC United and watching them play in the new stadium is fantastic...which reminds me, where are all the up in arms anti socialists when it comes time to pay for a new stadium on the tax payer dime? New Jerryworld? Sure, why not--f'k healthcare or educational funding.
Your site doesn't include Trump lifting sanctions on Oleg Deripaska, in January, who was a Putin ally. He really slow played applying sanctions to begin with: https://themoscowproject.org/collusion/trump-administration-lifts-sanctions-on-firms-tied-to-deripaska/. The good thing about this site is that it lists all of its links/sources which you can also counter research through other resources such as the Guardian or Routers. And he certainly wasn't happy about kicking out Russian diplomats along with sending weapons to the Ukraine which seemed to be more of an act by others because he was pushed to per WaPo. In fact the first thing Trump tried to do once in office was lift all sanctions against Russia: https://www.newsweek.com/trump-white-house-secret-efforts-lift-russia-sanctions-putin-619508
However, it doesn't explain his private conversations with Putin, establishing back channels, the Trump Hotel meeting, Russian interference in the elections benefitting Trump as well (https://www.justice.gov/sco).
My worldview is that Trump is a little bitch which explains all of his public support of Putin.
"At least 17 Trump associates had contacts with Russians or Wikileaks, which released hacked documents, during the campaign or transition, according to an analysis of public records by the New York Times, with at least 100 face-to-face interactions, phone calls or electronic messages with Russians or Kremlin-linked figures and at least 51 individual communications." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42493918
Furthermore, the bank which loaned him money was implicated in Russian money laundering along with Trump recently suing them to not disclose his financial records. This is really a big deal but not to Trump supporters who seem to look the other way with all of his suits regarding his financials. Especially since he's lied about being forthcoming with them. Remember Obama's birth certificate? Yeah, so let's see those taxes already.
A 2017 report by Reuters, citing public documents, interviews and corporate records, also found that at least 63 Russians or people with Russian addresses bought nearly $100 million worth of property in seven Trump-branded Florida luxury buildings.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/12/21/how-russian-money-helped-save-trumps-business/. Whoops! Despite these financial connections to Russia, some of which are well documented, Trump and his associates have consistently played down the relationship. “I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA – NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING!” Trump tweeted a few days before his inauguration. A month later, when asked whether anyone advising his campaign had contact with Russia, Trump responded: “No. Nobody that I know of. … I have nothing to do with Russia. To the best of my knowledge, no person that I deal with does.” And his then spokeswoman Hope Hicks said flatly: “There was no communication between the campaign and any foreign entity during the campaign.”
And my favorite:
“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy said, according to Entous, a superb reporter who heard a tape recording of the colloquy. “Swear to God.”
but again, more on Trumps Russian financial transactions which you can read to educate or disprove: https://themoscowproject.org/collusion-chapter/chapter-1/
I used strip the text but not bothering to tonight. Spent some time in the studio and now crashing. How many pages have been added over the weekend?
