it’s not my job to prove anything, we’re just discussing. the investigation has just begun, even though trump and rudy have already inadvertently confessed to breaking the law.
are you looking for someone to explain things to you? the ukraine call? the server? rudy’s special purpose? who paid for what?
or is this a broader question where we should cover emoluments and obstruction?
holding back aid until he sees if ukraine president will play ball and open an investigation into a domestic political rival is abuse of power. asking or pressuring, doesn’t matter, can’t do it. congressmen can’t even take personal phone calls or discuss campaign contributions in certain office hallways. this is not man, there are rules.
using a code-word server for matters not pertaining to national security isn’t illegal, but points to a cover-up because someone else was smart enough to know people shouldn’t see it. however only trump can classify or declassify like that, and he said it was a perfect phone call, which tells me someone trying to protect him broke the law (anyone else sensing a trend here?). now it’s come out that the server was used for other non-national security reasons. calls with russia and saudi. this opens the door to a potential river of shit.
i can keep going, but you really should read the complaint and get caught up. it was a really busy couple days. this is just the beginning of evidence and inquiry phase. subpoenas have just started. oh, and these you can’t just ignore.
and once it comes out that pompeo and rudy weren’t on the same page, one of them is fucked, likely rudy, who won’t stop digging his own grave. and if taxpayers/creep paid for his trips, well, that’s not great, bob.
if you’re looking for illegal shit, it’s everywhere. if you’re looking for people positive he’ll get removed over it, that’s a whole other thing
i’m off to bed. get your homework done and we can chat more tomorrow.
