  1. Harvdog? You sneaky bastard.
  2. I turned it on because I was more interested in the defense than the offense since it's a repeat of a bunch of facts I already knew. I couldn't even get through 1 minute. It's infuriating, embarrassing, mind bending, and most of all obvious that democracy had died in the United States.
  3. He lost me at head on a pike. Truth hurts, you fearful, shameless, criminal fuckwads. If you were not moved by Schiff, you were never mobile to begin with. You're entrenched in a criminal organization, and I hope you hang for it. They're fighting a rear guard retreat hoping to last long enough to escape jail and salt away the cash. They're also likely blind to the fact that their hold on the majority of the people is long gone. They'll happily open the door to a nasty little guerrilla war as long as it saves their worthless skins. Nothing bad enough can happen to Moscow Mitch and his crew of miscreants.
  4. Hey Paladin, The University of Texas "t-shirt" fans are much smarter than aggy grads. They earned their swagger by watching in 1963 when poor Roger and Navy got beat in the Cotton Bowl for a National Championship, then they watched James Street kick Arkansas' ass in the "Game of the Century" while the President of the United States and most of the free world was watching. They then watched Notre Dame and Joe Theismann take a Cotton Bowl butt fucking. Those fans got to see Earl mudhole the SWC, they then got to watch VY in all his glory vs USC for another national championship. Colt kicked some ass in his time. They even got to watch Buechele and Swoopes kick that Notre Dame ass on national television on a beautiful Sunday night. They love UT sports and even though they did not graduate or attend, they love the flagship university of the great state of Texas. Not one person or tree was killed during the process.

  6. I wasn't going to eat bat, but then I thought, "When am I going to be in Wuhan again?"
  7. I managed to watch about 5 minutes of Fox News at the gym this morning right after the Presidents lawyers finished up for the day. Neil Cavuto said we will now hear from a key “swing” senator on the Republican side who may decide if we get witnesses, Lindsey Graham. They then went on to talk with a Dem Senator and Neil Cavuto asked if they were OK with all of the lies Adam Schiff had told the American people. That was all I could take. Until we fix Fox News none of this will change. They enable the low intelligence inbred dumb asses in this country.
  8. men that use the term "alpha" to describe the personality type of a man they've never met are closeted homosexuals
  9. This is the worst decade of football in UT history and guess what, UT still has more victories over P-5 teams than aggy does. So why don’t you take your stupid 20__ national championship trophy and stick it up your cuckold midget coach’s ass. That stupid ass plaque is the closest aggy will ever get to winning anything. Have fun celebrating those wonderful victories over PVAMU and the school for quadriplegics.
  10. Get over it? You're an aggy on a Longhorn forum. Self-awareness, you certainly lack it. Honor what? 12 idiots who were stacking wood for a heathen tradition most of who were intoxicated? Honor them for what? What sacrifice did they make to advance the cause of humanity? It's tragic whenever anyone dies, but they got themselves killed. The only service they did was making the human gene pool a little bit more intelligent by removing themselves from it. You're a sanctimonious prick just like your entire aggy ilk which is why I never recommend anyone to be friends with an aggy graduate or supporter. Enjoy swinging around your glorified community college degree. What did you major in? Poultry Science?
  11. He worked extremely hard to land Devin Price. He showed Devin the power of Aggie Network, and the opportunity available at the state's premier and only SEC program. It was a bit of hard sell, but it worked, obviously.
  12. A lot of men are extremely unconfident about their social status and masculinity and can only feel powerful by subjugating or creating an artificial social status to reenforce an imagined power structure. its why MAGA heads are both over confident and easily triggered snowflakes.
  13. LMAO. If true, we are fucked.
  14. Georgia has a championship staff? What did they win?
  15. Handed this to my wife. When she laughed then looked up from her phone at me I had my nuts out.
  16. The problem some of us have with how aggys "mourn" the tragic event is that you choose to commemorate a highly sanitized, almost farcical version of the event. As the aggys tell of the event, there was no personal responsibility. No culture of irresponsibility, poor decisions, immaturity, stupidity and willful negligence. No lessons to be learned about how aggy culture often fails to be utterly self-aware. no acknowledgement that there were plenty of warnings of extreme and needless danger, no acceptance that 12 kids lost their lives because aggys can't be trusted to be responsible adults. Some of us find the refusal to be honest about what happened and why it happened as unforgivable as the negligent acts themselves. And because we find it unforgivable, we continue to speak of the event in open, honest terms, lest the truth be lost as has happened in so many other instances when dealing with aggy "history." If you truly wanted to honor those you collectively killed, you would have long ago embraced the failings of aggy culture that lead to their deaths and you would have worked to eradicate those vile and odious elements from your culture. But, being aggys, you instead chose to double down on them and present the tragedy as you do. aggys have even bastardized the origins of the bonfire event. If you refer back to the April 17, 1914 school paper, it explains the first bonfire occurred in 1902 after the football team from the agricultural branch college first defeated the team from the main campus of The University of Texas. Over the years, aggys stole from area landowners to build the bonfore, with no consideration of the damage of financial burdens of their thefts. Eventually, the bonfire turned into a drunkfest where students working on the woodpile were regularly abused and degraded. Nice tradition there. You should come to grips that there are a number of individuals who are not going to allow aggys to add the deaths to those students to the long list of aggy fraudulent lies. You people have lied about the origins of your bonfire, of your yell leaders, your "12th Man" tradition and even the origins of your school itself. Lying to others about who you are is what you do. It is at the core of the aggy culture. Some of aren't going to allow you people to lie about the stupidity and irresponsibility that caused the deaths of those kids. As for the performance os any of the sports teams over the past decade, who really cares? A lot of kids who otherwise would never have attended UT Austin were able to do so, and at little to no cost. The fans were entertained. None of us are so devoid of meaningful things in our lives that our lives are materially effected by college athletics. None of UT's athletics events has ever resulted in the negligent homicide of UT students. At least we have that to hang our hats on. I will repeat for your benefit - the people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.
  17. "It's ok we were grossly negligent and responsible for the 12 avoidable student deaths. I mean, we built a cool memorial that is more a remembrance of bonfire itself. Plus it was our magic number 12. Whoop!"
  18. That is the issue. The criticism of Rogan is that he provides a naive platform for extremists to share nonsense without being challenged. He seems like a good guy with whom I agree on most political issues, but he’s also just a terrible journalist. His supporters point to free speech and being open-minded to ideas. I also support both of those concepts, but neither requires silent acquiescence to crazy bullshit. Or, even worse, handing a megaphone to the spouter of said bullshit. That’s what Rogan does, because vapid open-mindedness is his guiding principle. He’s the podcast equivalent of pothead teenagers hearing off-the-wall metaphysical musings for the first time. His guests spout off on some total bullshit, and Rogan just nods and says “Holy shit, that’s trippy, man.” All that said, cancel culture is bullshit. Especially when applying it to someone merely because they are willing to hear bad ideas.
  19. What a bad thread. There are no surprises or shocks in Midsommar, by design. The director literally shows you throughout what’s going to happen. This movie is not a horror movie or a thriller, and it has nothing in common with the Wicker Man other than the framing device of ritualistic seasonal killing. It’s a pre-Christian-style fairy tale about an orphan girl being made into a queen, placed in the context of modern times. The story begins with her orphaned in tragedy, and ends with her being adopted into a new family, cleansed her of grief and freed of fraught old attachments. Ever read some of the weirder Grimm Brothers stories in their original form, like Hans the Hedgehog or The Juniper Tree? That’s more or less what Ari Aster is doing here. It’s fantastic.

  27. Only saw the last 10 minutes and waited to the end to post to avoid a jinx, but goddamn, is Blinn getting automatic admission to the b-ball roster like on the academic side? We’re terrible and just blew them out on their own floor. Classless aggy player ejected for stomping our guy’s head (not too bad in real time but clearly intentional as classless as fuck). “Classiest fans ever” booed his ejection. Another reminder that the aggy code is fake horseshit.
  28. i know it took 24 hours (8 per day) to lay out the entire case, the timeline, the details, etc. and it was awesome. but to me it comes down to this: a. it's illegal for the president to ask a foreign country to investigate a political rival (or his family) b. it's illegal for the president to unilaterally hold up congressionally-approved aid c. it's illegal to tie them together in a condition-based arrangement. we know for a fact he did the first two. those are completely undisputed by everyone. that's already abuse of power. everything he's done to fuck with the investigation is already obstruction. he's already guilty of both of the articles. but do these violations warrant removal? maybe yes, maybe no. (maybe fuck yourself). it's the third one that brings it home. the third one turns this into bribery (wh meeting) or extortion (the aid) which makes this impeachable/removable. all the rest of this is smoke-filled coffee-house crap. this is the cheat sheet. these are the repeatable facts in a short and concise format. and it can be argued inside of a minute.
  29. Are you talking about the basketball program that beat aggy this season? It is in shambles, but still can beat aggy. Good call bringing that up.
  30. We were partial to the bottle rocket. Started out lighting and slinging individual ones, like stone age savages. Swiftly evolved to where we'd place multiple rockets in a piece of pipe, give the fuses a quick wrap together, then when you'd light it, your mini-Katyusha would pepper the front of a house and any dogs or people that ran out to intervene. We rode around in an open Jeep like Somalis in a bongo truck. One friend, I'll call him Bazooka, he built a bazooka-looking tube that he could drop a handful of rockets inside, and all their fuses would line up perfectly with the trigger, a Bic lighter that he had taped to the underside. The hell-fire barrage that thing put out was a thing of glory. Bazooka grew up to be a preacher. I'm not big on church attendance, but I bet that guy could throw out a sermon.
  31. that would be great; however, hard, miserable years in prison would be highly preferable. executed for treason, even better.

Growing up, we had about 1/4 mile of Brazos River frontage above Lake Whitney. My Dad always kept a trotline out. We had a small 8 foot jonboat, and I remember him catching one so big, that he had to get in the water with it, rope the tail, and handed me the rope. When we pulled it in, it was as long as the boat, I estimate that that gar weighed right around 200 lbs. Biggest freshwater fish I have ever seen in person to this day. CHIEF

  36. Bryce and mom had a great time at Jr Day - they very much enjoyed meeting the new OC. Liked him a lot. Bryce was able to talk with Herman more and again visited with the Track program. Everyone assured him that he could continue to throw at UT while playing football. Heidi (mom) is still hoping for College Station, but that does not appear to be his personal preference. He is a huge fan of coach Hand. Oregon, Oklahoma, and LSU also still in mix (LSU recruiting him the hardest), but Texas probably the favorite with his buddies going there and his relationship with Hand. Doubt mom or brother will relent. Saying they don't really care, but you know that they do. That's all I have.
  37. From ESPN's Doolittle...finally a break from the sanctimony and a nice dose of reality...it's long but worth the read:
