  2. I would've skipped my entire senior year if it was an option. What a waste of time.
  3. That is absolutely false. Most people immediately wanted them booted from the team and were happy when it did
  4. I hope he doesn't beat himself up too bad over getting himself indicted.
  5. i've gone from 'i just can't vote for hilary and i'm sure as shit not voting for trump' to 'the dems could put Hitler's corpse on the ticket and they're getting my vote' in 3 very long years.
  6. The only way I'm not voting for the Democrat is if Trump was the democratic nominee
  7. Actual video of Liucci grading the classs:
  8. I agree that the word Boomer is a repugnant fucking word, especially when followed with sooner.
  9. Not everybody's the perfect person in the world. I mean everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever. I think that people need a second chance.

Is he being shoved down your throat too?
  11. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 10 years in a row shame on..... Oh fuck it. Who am I kidding. I'm in.
  12. Wife told me this one last night at the dinner table... she walked out of the gym and over to her car and sees a dent in the back door, starts cursing and getting annoyed then spots another dent on the front qtr panel as well as a couple of small holes in the bonnet, by this stage she is really pissed.... Then she realizes its not her car, its not even the same model, its just the same colour
  13. I would murder all of you for an extra semester at UT
  14. it doesn't matter who the democratic nominee is, we all need to unite and vote for that person. jesus christ, this is not hard, but this is why democrats keep losing. factionalism will only lead to failure. get the fucking criminal cabal out of the white house - that's the goal - at all costs, even if it means you vote for fucking bloomberg. and i say that as an actual gary johnson voter in 2016. complete regret now.
  15. A far more accurate picture would have the GOP hammering at the pillars and the Democratic Party trying to tape it together while religious right/trumpkins/tea party cheer as Russians hand Trump dynamite to blow the whole thing up, collateral damage and all.

  17. I know when I'm getting it on with a chick-- consensually or otherwise!-- one of the first thoughts that goes through my head is, "yeah this is great and all, but what would really spice it up is another dude getting involved".

The last couple pages have been classic Rex Kramer. He comes in here firing his hot takes responding to every person who broached the subject while showing he has no fucking clue what he’s talking about. Coleman’s a good player and him leaving would be a significant loss for our new coach. Blaming Coleman for issues that have been consistent under every guard coaches by Shaka in the last five years is silly. Yeah, he over dribbles and makes poor decisions at times, but when he’s stuck in a system that has no creative movement and doesn’t generate any good looks plus he has a coach that makes no adjustments and just leaves his players flailing out there night after night isn’t his fault. There’s been a lot of talented players that have come through the program in the last five years and Isaiah Taylor has been the only guy who’s even marginally been able to overcome Shaka’s coaching. If you put guys like Coleman, AJ, Hepa, and even Kai, Williams and Ramey with a couple years of development, under a competent coach, they’d all show to be above average CBB starters. Our roster has talent and a lot of the guys on it have value, but that’s being marred by having one of the worst basketball coaches in all of P5, and probably D1, coaching them.

  20. This shit better be 100% option one, or your complicit in the destruction of this country.
  21. Loving the Never-Trump conservatives who think the Democrats are free to be molded into their own after you lost your party completely to Trump. The alliance was nice while it lasted. Quit trying to remake the Democrats into the new 1982-2007 Republican Party. Nobody wants your shitty ideas and your shitty employer based healthcare plans.
  22. Oklahoma law limits women to 3.2 or less.
  23. 1) Yurcich - applying the caveat that Herman actually works with him to construct thoughtful gameplans and then let's him call the game and tempo. 2) Hutzler - there are folks who believe this guy is an up and comer and a strong recruiter. 3) Boulware - I like taking this guy from OU and bringing him home. He's got a good ST rep along with recruiting acumen. 4) Ash - comfort hire and a lunkhead, but Herman has proven he could do a lot worse. I'm at the point of viewing mediocrity as valued progress within the Texas football/AD program. Orlando became a frightening fucking joke, kind of like Ash as a personnel manager and head coach. I'm hoping the theory that bad HCs can still be amazeballs coordinators proves itself out with this guy. 5) Coleman - this hire could have happened quickly if this was who Herman wanted. It wasn't. In reality, Herman whiffed multiple times on other targets, then farted promptly into his own closed hand, lifted it up to his nose as he closed his eyes, released the odor bomb and saw Coleman's name through the mist. Blech, meh, eh. Those claiming he's some sort of solid recruiter are wishcasting. We have no fucking idea whether or not this guy can recruit, but I'm crossing my fingers with everyone else. 6) Hagen - 27 years of proven mediocrity is quite the standard in which we're now aspiring within the program. On the other hand, if this guy is the replacement for, say, Derek Warehime, then, uh, sign me up? At least we now have 5 assistants on defense. So, in effect, this guy matters in the form of having mass and taking up space. 7) Valai - there is no justification whatsoever for this hire that makes any sense except for the premise that he's going to be an aggressive bag man. That's hopefully what's going on. If it is, however, the early results aren't promising. He shows up and decides to recruit Ennis Rakestraw, who then sprints immediately into the waiting arms of ... Missouri? Holy fucking shit. (Charlie) Strong start for this guy. People can say what they like, but if OU had a defensive staff of Smoldering Ash, Hustle Never Sleeps, Mother Hutzler, J'ai Alai, and Tom Hagen, we'd all be high-fiving and proclaiming our intellectual superiority.
  24. Wife Calls. (one HUGE downside to the Cochlear Implants and those motherfuckers who invented the Closed Caption phone for the home. Shit, they GIVE you one.) Anyway.....Wife calls. Her: Have you been looking for a new printer? Me: No. Didn't know I was supposed to be. Her: You said the one in the basement wasn't working. Me: Nope. Said it was out of ink. Her: Well, does it work? Me: Yes. That one and the one upstairs are both working fine. Her: What happens if one quit working? What are we going to do? Me: I imagine you will call me and ask if I've been looking for a new printer. Her: OK.
  25. What I’ve realized over these last three long years is that the constitution is basically a mutually assured destruction pact. And now one side has decided to press the big red button and the rest of us are left to try and hide from the boom or press our button. When the Democrats take the White House and both houses of congress in November (yes, I said when not if because my brain will not allow to even entertain the alternative) it has GOT to be a priority to pass legislation or even amend the constitution if need be to put some serious teeth into punishing future administrations that choose to get all Trumpy. I’m certainly not smart enough to figure out what that looks like exactly but Trump and McConnell and the rest of the Republicans have shown us that there is literally nothing that can be done to stop those in power to obey the law. We cannot wait on a long slog through the courts on this. I’m legitimately terrified of what will be done to this country if Trump remains in power. I’m a woman in a deeply red state. I still have some privilege because I’m white but my imagination has taken me to some dark places after listening to the Republicans. I can’t even imagine the real fear black and brown and queer and Muslim people must feel.

I'm in the minority that liked all three movies. Heavy handed dialogue and cheesy moments, sure, but they also have some compelling moments.
  27. Fuck people who recline their seat. And fuck the airlines for continuing to shrink the pitch and width of seats at the same time that Americans are getting taller and somehow more obese. Goddamn I hate flying. But seriously, they should have flights for people who recline and different flights for civilized people. On the flights for those who recline, they each get one coronavirus victim, so hopefully they all die. Fuck them.

There’s an official HBO podcast hosted by the director and producer of the series that’s got some good tidbits that didn’t make it into the series. Agent Matthews is apparently super smart math geek who was a CPA prior to joining the FBI and has degrees in accounting and economics. And Shamrock Productions was named by Matthews after the Shamrock Shake. The PR lady for McDonald’s came to work for McDonald’s because of the Shamrock Shake. Her dad worked for the Philadelphia Eagles and came to McDonald’s with a marketing proposal - sell a green shake and he’ll get the players in their green uniforms to promote them if McDonald’s gives a portion of the profits to a home for families with kids with cancer. McDonald’s said, “We’ll give you all the profits if you name the home ‘The Ronald McDonald House’.” And thus the RMcH and the Shamrock Shake was born.
  29. made this recipe: https://themodernproper.com/wine-braised-beef-with-mushrooms Honestly unreal. Added a few dashes of Worcestershire and soy sauce. Less liquid left than I thought but more than the after oven picture portrays. The gravy is fucking crack and the meat was perfect. pre oven: finished product:
  30. Are you asking the president? Because you should be asking the president.
  31. That oughta do it, thanks very much Chuck.
  32. Fuck off. I am fighting the cancer. You're hoping that herbs and meditation destroy the disease that is killing you. It's just astonishing how ignorant you are (not to mention how you twist arguments into convenient yet inaccurate untruths just to have something to argue against). Enough, I'm done. If your path is what we end up taking, you will be every bit as responsible as every Republican, and you will deserve everything that's coming to you.
  33. Try asking her if she's having an affair.
