  1. Had Roberts not looked at the floor like a scolded puppy when Trump blasted Sotomayor and RBG his admonishment would carry weight. He didn't. It doesn't. He can go fuck himself.
  2. This is exactly why Warren is going to endorse Biden. Sanders refuses to engage in the fundamentals of politics. It's why he has never accomplished anything in the Senate. It's why he is not going to win the nomination (again). And it's why, if he were somehow elected president, his would be a failed presidency. The notion that you can't do business with someone who doesn't agree with you on all policy issues is astounding. And it reflects the fact that Sanders' inability to expand his base of support isn't a bug, it's a feature.
  3. Let's not forget that Brett Kavanaugh is a lying, crying, whiney little bitch.
  4. When your wives object and immortal shares your stance, perhaps it’s time to reassess.
  5. That's not why we think you're stupid.
  6. Posted this on another thread but thought y’all might enjoy it here too. She was right in front of me sitting in traffic on I-30 in East Fort Worth. When I passed her I gave her the Hook’em and she smiled big and gave it right back. Pretty cool random encounter.
  7. This thread is like aggy trying to talk up a 2 star into a 5 star.
  8. If you use cask strength whiskey to make hand sanitizer you deserve to get the virus.
  9. Keep up the good fight. Bloomberg was monumental threat to our battered democracy. Warren disemboweled him in public. Thank you Elizabeth.
  10. Not sure where to leave this but look who was in front me on I-30 in East Fort Worth. We flashed each other the Hook’em!
  11. I remember watching that particular episode. That was April 22nd, 1978 SNL episode when he debuted King Tut. I bought a Steve Martin ticket to his show with my saved allowance before getting permission from Mom. I was 11. csb Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Government should stay out of the business of preventing pandemics. Coordinating the fight against infectious disease on a global scale is best left to free individuals acting of their own accord and in their own self-interest, unburdened by the tyranny of bureaucracy or fiat money.
  13. John Roberts showed he was a partisan hack when he declared racism dead and gutted the voting rights act
  14. Edit: PSA, don't google image search for "pregnant filipino midget" on your work computer.

  16. His entire approach to the virus is to figure out the best way to contain its effect on the stock market. That's his only priority, because it's his main argument for re-election. It will get so many more people killed.
  17. Schumer doing a fraction of what Trump does as standard operational procedure repercussion-free is completely defensible, specifically as it relates to Roberts.

He played two minutes of token white guy ball against Colorado school for the high. Then one minute against Purdue. If Brock’s play got him “rightfully benched” than Febres should be scalping tickets on red river
  19. If you get Coronavirus from eating Chinese food, can you get it again a few hours later?
  20. You support Donald Trump. He literally wears orange face.
  21. I dont think Cloak Room containment strategy should be abandoned. We have been successful in that strategy. However, we need to prepare for any eventuality and explore mitigation techniques if it becomes necessary.
  22. Because it's a ridiculous statement in context. Biden and Sanders are both constantly yelling. The former barely makes any sense. The latter gets visibly angry when pressed. No one cares. Warren replaces Bernie's temper with composure and is orders of magnitude more coherent than Biden. But she's grating? GTFO with that nonsense.
  23. Everything you need to know about this president's capacity to truthfully prepare this nation for a pending (ongoing?) natural crisis can be summed up in one photograph.
  24. My wife (white attorney) early voted for Warren last Saturday. I'm a lazy white dude, so I waited until Tuesday to vote (discussions about voting in 15 minutes in my white upper-middle suburb versus 7 hours at Texas Southern to be held later). Warren was my ideal choice, but by Tuesday it was clear she was nonviable. I picked Biden. I still believe 2016 was an ugly, unfortunate outlier. It shouldn't be normalized. Political decisions should still be made through coalition building and honest, ethical compromise. The talking (screaming) heads have, I believe, about run their course. There's a ton of Joe Biden that's not to my liking. However, the perfect cannot be the enemy of the very good. Joe earned the respect of a wide field of voter demographics over the course of his career. I trust him with the Presidency.
  25. you can spew your political horse shit in that fucking retard zoo all you want ....freely
  26. Yeah, sorry -- my bad, was bouncing back and forth between threads, forgot which one it was in. I'll take my lumps.
  27. We're doing exactly what happens when you have a completely incompetent federal government (in this case, PURPOSEFULLY incompetent) -- we're leaving it to state and local officials. When the dust clears, some of them will have done an amazing job. We will be in awe as to how well, say, Tennessee handled things. And some of them....will have been a complete clusterfuck, allowing their jurisdiction to become a hub for the disease spreading (I mean, we're all expecting Florida will meet this description, right?) Trump doesn't give a shit about this issue. He doesn't give a shit about the human lives at stake. He only cares about the one thing that he cares about, no matter what the topic: "what does this mean for ME?" That's the only lens he'll look through. And, when faced with a choice of 1) working openly and honestly, trying to do the right thing to help America and Americans, but also exposing himself to criticism because he's taking a visible role, or 2) deflecting, and washing his hands of things so someone else can take the fall.....come on. EVERYONE FUCKING KNOWS what he will choose. Even Trumpkin pieces of shit like @Johnny Sack know it.
  28. Robert Bork, the man who didn't have the conviction or moral compass to quit when the AG and Deputy AG both quit over the same corrupt instruction from Nixon. The biggest moment of his life as a lawyer, with a clear right and wrong choice, with the examples from two better men to go by, and he completely fucking failed. Just nominating that shitbird was a massive middle finger from Saint Ronald to any sense of judicial decorum. But 35 years later old Schumi says something mean so, fuck it, bothsides!
  29. Don't buy a new banner, just send one of the old ones. I think a tasteful "Fire Tom Herman" or "Not our standard" flying over a cemetery during the off-season would confer the sincere tenor of Surly grief. "Well... bye" should be on the wreath so everyone can sign it.
  30. I'm at Great Wolf Lodge. Pretty sure the water in the park is 80% urine with the other 20% being Corona virus. Been nice knowing yall.
  31. This is the point I'm taking from this. Where has Roberts been when the dotard has railed on the courts multiple times since he's been elected. I literally just saw video of Schumer and yes, that was out of line. What dotard has done is far worse, especially considering his position, and Roberts should criticize equally if he's going to criticize.
  32. You know their vaccine is going to look great and probably taste great too. Will it work? shrugs in Italian
