  1. Be patient with the new coaching staff. Actually allow them to recruit a class (a big change from past coaching changes with new early signing day). Watch staff to see if changes and course corrections can be made in the off season. Watch for recurring problems on offensive side of the ball which is the head coaches area of expertise which was a red flag with Herman and Strong. Support the players who play hard. If poor development is a big part of our problem, then impatience is not going to be rewarded. Be prepared to enforce accountability for the staff when they have upper classmen of their own that showcase the coaching and development that has or has not occurred. Most coaching changes end in failure so the odds are never great with a new staff. We made a bet in Sark and this staff and I think it is foolish to read too much into the early bad outcomes. His tenure should be determined by an ability to fix problems not get everything right from day 1 in my very humble opinion. Hook'em.

you are a sick person. it should have been prosecuted. it highlighted important issues in our society, and we needed to find out the real story about him shooting people. his self defense claim stood up. good for him. but you don't just get to go out and shoot people without scrutiny. i hope your orgasm is top notch though. i know you were really excited about this case.

Forget the white supremacist angle or the 17 year old angle but is it just possible that maybe this shows that people walking around with rifles in crowded areas might just be a bad thing for our civilization? This shouldn't be a right wing or left wing thing but kind of a common sense thing. You can have your rifle in the woods when you are hunting or whatever but is there any reason a regular citizen should be walking around a crowd of people with a rifle?

GOD DAMN delicious. Leftover eggs, hatch queso, whataburger sausage, Chick F. nuggets, and tapatillo. So amazing, while plated, the food gods sent in a single shaft of light to illuminate and bless this grand creation. Washed down with three cups of black coffee.
  5. We did it! We made it to Cloak Room!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Shit, imagine being Hugo’s parents. On one hand they’re just glad he’s leaving the basement, on the other hand they have to drive him to an antifa protest.

This is America’s toxic gun culture. It is insane that a 17 year old kid can so easily grab an AR-15 and head out for some SWAT larping. And here is the truth: that AR-15 made Kyle Rittenhouse believe he had a role to play. It made him believe he could be a protector. Without his AR-15 in hand, Rittenhouse never leaves his home and watches Kenosha on TV, which is where a 17 year old should be during a riot or disturbance. And Rittenhouse can’t fully be blamed, because he is a teenager without a fully developed brain. Which is why we should keep guns away from 17 year olds. Sorry, blacked out there for a moment. I think we can all agree that the real lesson here is that Rittenhouse needs to be Matt Gaetz’ intern and own the Libs.
  8. Did I stumble into the Shit Wives Talk About at Book Club thread by mistake?
  9. If Danny Davis is saying this you know Brian Jones fucked up

I know it doesn't serve the purpose of your third-rate sophistry to take what I wrote as whole, so I put it in a picture. This is the fucking problem no matter what the jury ruled. This is a national problem beyond this one case. If you don't see it, you're the problem. If your viewpoint is tied up in balleyhooing this dubious darling of the raving right, then you should pretty much stop calling yourself a citizen. You're a party member. That's it. Just like in Soviet Russia.
  13. Fuck I didn’t know your wife was going to write the story.

Can’t really argue the result if you watched the trial.

This feels like a good time to quote the only true definition of conservatism again: "Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect." Immortal says there was a curfew in effect, and implies that since protesters were violating the curfew they deserved punishment. And it doesn't once enter his head that Rittenhouse was also violating the curfew and similarly deserving of punishment, because in his mind Rittenhouse, as a white conservative, is exempt from being bound by the law. The law isn't universal to conservatives. It doesn't bind and benefit everyone equally. To them, the law is to protect them from us and to enable them to wage violence against us.

I hope Hamilton wears a pride helmet at all three Middle East races, especially Saudi Arabia.
  20. So we're sitting on the couch last night, compiling our Christmas gift shopping list for extended family..she becomes noticeably frustrated about something, so I glance over at her laptop and see a bunch of Frozen-related images on a Google search. There are zero young girls in either of our families, so at this point I have no idea what she's actually looking for. Her: Ugh, what's the name of that record player I bought you? Sven and Olaf Something? Me: [smirking] Bang & Olufsen. Her: Don't laugh, I was close! Me: Yeah, it was a good guess...I'll Let it Go.
  21. Mainstream media is evil. They tried to convict a person, who was obviously defending himself, because he dared to defend himself against an attack by a a riot mob they agreed with. Despicable.

There is a thin line between Kyle Rittenhouse and an active shooter and I think that’s what is disturbing to many about this case. 17 year olds walking around with fully loaded semiautomatic rifles in highly populated public places isn’t a good thing, especially when they end up killing people.

This trial would have never occurred if Kyle was Black, mostly because Kyle would be dead.
  24. Can’t argue with the verdict on the discrete charges, glad they took the time to throughly deliberate.
  25. You told him that technically you were outside of a school zone?

  27. I'm actually enjoying watching the Texas team. I'm still trying to figure out names and tendencies with so many new faces. Hell if I lived in Austin I'd have season tickets to watch the final season in the Drum.

Kaptain Kyle dishing out justice to commies and child molesters. Roaming the streets with his AR just trying to do good! Good vanquishing evil with a spray of bullets. Such a sick, fucked-up society we have. The acquittal doesn't make what he did right, but he will be widely celebrated. That the law allows heavily armed and politically motivated citizens to confront strangers is where the problem lies. It lies atop an insanity that sees everything as a John Wayne movie. Good vs Evil. Black hat vs white hat. So simple and so untrue. Greatest country in the world. The envy of the world. The most self-congratulatory crowd of yokels with guns in the world. What a joke.
  30. Rookie. Driving back home from New Mexico recently, she's surfing on her phone I'm listening to sports talk radio .....blah blah blah NBA Basketball blah blah blah Sacramento Kings blah blah blah....... Out of the corner of my eye I see her head move up away from her phone, I can tell she's gonna ask me a question. and here we go H: "Sacramental Kings sure seems like an odd name for a basketball team doesn't it?" M: "You're absolutely right."
