  7. I don’t know man, i hear you but it’s different. I love amateur athletics, the big 2 are awesome but seeing student athletes in sports that are exciting to watch but without a path to riches and still seeing them give it all, cry in victory and defeat is something else. That’s a lot of hard work and time and schedule demands and seeing that level of excellence from well kids is inspiring.
  8. Should be included in their orientation rituals, as a stellar example to be emulated. (Someone should tweet this to MBG or some account that posts aggie drivel ... )

  19. Looch radio: Longhornfrenzy1 Longhornfrenzy 🎄🎅🏼🤘🏼 · @Longhornfrenzy1 17th Dec 2022 from TwitLonger Billy in his feelings Dalton Hughes: Why would any stud linebacker not want to play behind all of the studs we have along the defensive line? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Thanks, Liuch. Billy Liucci: Yeah, I think some of it's just program momentum, like the last question. These guys see that. These guys see that; they feel it. They feel it on social media. It influences them today. And last year at this time, A&M was perceived as a rising program, even though they were 8-4. To recruits, they see Texas as a rising program right now, not a rising program necessarily, but momentum. And hey, they got Arch Manning‍. That's what got that thing going for them. Johntay Cook‍ tweets a lot. Kids see it and then he's up front and center. A&M had that last year in Bobby Taylor. It's just a perception momentum thing. I don't think people necessarily around college football think Texas is a rising program under Sarkisian. He's never proven it. For all the shit they talk over there in Austin on Twitter and stuff, their record last two years is 5-7, 8-4. It's the same at A&M. Now, they'll say, well, we went from 5-7. You also have a coach that's never done a damn thing. In fact, he's actually done the opposite of a damn thing as a head coach twice. But it's perception. And it's what they perceive where it's going. And so I think if you say, why don't they get a linebacker? I think it has to do with the fact that Anthony Hill was at A&M and watched the Aggies get smoked by Florida on a no atmosphere Saturday. We talk about all those dudes that came to A&M because they watched the 'Bama game and stormed the field, and they were at the Auburn game. And that was how we tried to tell the country, look, this is why they did this class. Well, the opposite happened at Kyle Field until a few weeks ago this year. Some kids were here, and watched them lose to App State. You watch them lose to Ole Miss, you watch them get dusted by an average Florida team. That stuff adds up. And also, when you're giving up yards like you are defensively, and you see a couple of linebackers on the field in most of the game, maybe that affects you too on some level
  20. Must have hit a nerve. You seldom post so sloppily. I know you meant to denigrate me, but you’ve left open a retort equating the evil of intentionally taking children from their parents as a minuscule harm. Or that I had not supported my contention that the R party, today, is engaged in evil. I see no need to rehash the stark moral lines that you know have been crossed, other than the latest: the attempt to create a list of trans Texans, amid ongoing demonization of that, incredibly vulnerable, demographic. My comment about you continues to be true, you ignore real, predictable evil. You aren’t supporting a two party system by doing so. The end game you support is one party rule. Your need to assert intellectual superiority is a function of your insecurity. You avoid the trouble of re-examining your beliefs. And it merely offers me the same false comfort you seem to enjoy.

  22. Lets not wait another decade for the next one.
  23. For those who didn’t get to watch the game, Wisner had 135 rec yards, 75 rush yards, and 2 TDs in a state championship win. He mostly lines up in the slot. He’s an interesting case, had he stayed at Waco Connally, he would’ve been the star RB there and he probably would’ve kept his 4th star in the recruiting rankings. Instead he took a flex role on a stacked Desoto team and was a good team player. Talented but willing to be a team player is a pretty good fit for a 2nd take RB. I don’t know if Texas moves on from him or not, but I feel a lot more comfortable keeping him after watching that game.
  24. Wisner just flashed a hook ‘em after his interview, all would appear well.
