  1. Lol at all the dipshits who ran back to "bag game" like a fucking woobie they clutch while sucking their thumb. Sometimes we're just going to lose a recruitment. Jesus.
  2. Living wage within a 40 hour workweek that gives people actual free time and subsequently the freedom to choose social time would probably help.
  3. Let me get this straight: Some scientists employed by the federal government studying the health effects of alcohol recommend that you probably should keep it to two beers or less per week, and a god damned senator from the largest red state in the US goes full moronic meltdown and in some kind of performance video claims the libs are going to take away beer while awkwardly "drinking" a beer? Do I have that right? Federal scientists need to recommend senators from red states not shoot themselves in the head.
  4. I'm a bachelor with a dog, and I've worked from home the past 3.5 years. The loneliness is suffocating at times. Luckily there's a few bars nearby, but it gets so damn expensive at nearly $50 a visit. Too fucking hot for outdoor activities. My post count here had gone through the roof the past few months. Football season is the best relief from it all.

  9. Just FYI. SIAP. - Milroe committed to us. - Ewers committed to us. - Milroe bailed, to go play for Sark. - Herman flailed. - Ewers bailed. - We got Sark. - Ewers returned. - And now, Ewers/Sark ride into Tuscaloosa, to take on - likely - Milroe and Darth Vader. The strange, strange vicissitudes of life.
  10. I guess I am fortunate. Lived alone since the kiddos went off to college three years ago. This year invited a good friend to live at my place in the separate wing of the house. We are working on a screenplay and just made sense with the logistics. Work from home and taking care of dogs was getting old. Another friend got divorced and had no where to go. He is an Artist and this place allows him the space to paint. Plus they both get along well with my fiancé. So basically I set up an artist colony without realizing. We rotate cooking duties and it is a lot of time shooting the shit over a few beers in the kitchen. Sports rule the TV and the library has expanded. I am very happy my dad (Widower, 83) got involved with Civil Air Patrol. Gives him some people to hang out with and share their military experience. He has lunch with a few friends twice a week. Humans are not supposed to be alone. @ztejas Tell us more about this tailgate.
  11. Seriously, if it wasnt for this beast through the pandemic I doubt I'd be typing this.

Small-town high school football. The junior class is offering pulled pork sandwiches and hot dogs at the concession stand. Would Steel Shank offer the kids a couple extra bucks to top a hot dog with pulled pork? Probably so.

  32. I think Joe Biden should take his coffee mug idea and go one step further with a "Dark Brandon Coffee" brand. Put a big U.S. Flag on it. The slogan should be "Get Yourself a Cup of Joe." Add a label that says "100% No Malarkey." I'd buy that shit.
  33. It's a bit more complex than that, and part of it includes understanding the euphamistic nature of language in Russia. He was actually a small time convict, petty theft, etc that got caught and spent time in prison all the way back in the 70s and 80s. Once he got out he opened a hot dog stand in St Pete, which is part of the whole chef thing circles back to. However, he wasn't selling hot dogs, the was his laundering operation; he was a drug dealer. Basically, he went from being sort of a small time gangster, went in the joint and came out with new skills. Of course all this was around the time of the collapse, so then it really became the wild west. Anyway, he went from the hot dog stand to being other business, usually in dinning and food services, in order to launder his growing enterprise. At this point, he meets Putin, during a deal which was intended to relieve starvation in St. Petersburg, for $90 million USD, he and Putin orchestrated a fraud together to bilk this thru his food services companies. Important to remember this part, both of these fucking guys grew up there and had ties to the community, but instead of providing the food they should have to their own community, they just stole it and said screw them. Shortly thereafter, and if ever there is anything that sort of summarizes Russia, Putin gets elevated to Yelstin's second fiddle and the rest is history. The Putin's Chef thing refers to two things. 1. Which is obvious is the food services, food contracts, and dining aspect. 2. The other is actually referring to his ability to launder money thru said food enterprises. At the end of the day, Prigozhin was just a thug and a murderer. A generally awful human being. Fuck him.
