  1. LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO Tweets from Pete Thamel: Alabama transfer wide receiver Isaiah Bond has committed to Texas, which he told ESPN is a “business decision” in the wake of Nick Saban’s retirement. Bond led Alabama in receptions last season with 48 and said Saban’s retirement was “100-percent” the reason for his transfer. “Just like the business world, you make the best decision for your company,” Bond told ESPN in a phone interview Sunday. “My company right now is my draft stock. I feel like I’m putting myself in position to increase that and have better draft stock.” Bond said playing for Steve Sarkisian and with QB Quinn Ewers were main attractions. “One hundred percent,” he said of Ewers. "He’s a great big-time pocket passer quarterback. He’s a top pick in the draft next year. I’m also going to be a top pick. It’s going to be a good duo.”
  2. Olds gonna be happy Arizona board gonna be hilarious, they were saying he was next up for DC, never wanted to leave, and was the reason for Nansen's success
  3. Alabama and Georgia are both now officially farm teams for our wr room.
  4. Your defensive line coach Freddie Roach was... not added. Please select another defensive line coach. Goodbye and good luck.
  5. I'm going to start giving vacations for off topic posts in this thread. No body fucking cares what you think about 40 year old movies.
  6. You’re overall a solid poster, but you can get fucked right now.
  7. This guy is awesome. Watch the whole thing.
  8. Cross posting Thamels quote on Sark + Quinn
  9. If these Cowboys defended the Alamo, we'd be speaking German.
  10. Jeff Banks it's time to get the monkey involved. do what must be done.
  11. Hooiii leeeeeee fuck our DBs are gonna turn their heads around boys
  12. Guys I think Texas might be back.
  13. It suggests we're going to smoke their ass in the big house, which is all I really care about in regards to Michigan.
  14. I was as vocally against him as a staff hire as it comes, but as an analyst hire this is ultra-gruntling.
  15. Which makes letting Beard go even more maddening. Beard knew how to build that type of culture. They should have suspended him the remainder of the season instead of firing him. No one cares, gives a shit, or has mentioned anything Beard did a year ago The Beard thing reminds me of something a I read in a book in grad school: “A year from now, nobody will care.” It’s been 1 year and no one—not one person outside of Texas fans clutching their pearls—give 2 shits what happened.
  16. Fire Sark. 30 day window. Rehire Sark. Boom
  17. Great, now everyone is going to think we like wearing plaid shorts.
  18. I’m happy that Akina is back in an analyst capacity. He apparently was really good in that role this season. On the field? Get a fucking grip. Honestly, give me as many intelligent and analytic old guys who love the sport in analyst roles as possible. Mix those with guys like Chryst, who still have a lot to contribute on the field if they can rehabilitate themselves, and you have a legitimate force added to the brain trust.
  19. So this nickelback guy is a tight end, Surly supports burnt ends, making it immamac and RB’s fault if we don’t get him.
  20. Seeing Bama/Saban's grandfathered recruiting advantage, built on past bags, disappear so quickly as these guys rush to the portal is really wonderful.
