I'm resigned to no cfp this year and I've talked myself into "maybe it's for the best." If that's the case, they can use the bowl to get some younger players reps, focus a little more on development and a little less on must win.
Resigned as I am, I'm happy. I don't think Sark lost the locker room. I don't believe Texas players play for checks and have no loyalty to the program. I do believe we have one of the top 5 coaches in the country.
They'll probably give the damned bryant coach of the year award to fat ralphie grindr, and I wouldn't trade. And don't forget. He's aggy's second choice - jimbo - their first choice, is still out there cashing checks.
Don't want Kirby, don't want Lane and damned sure don't want Day.
From my perspective, right now, the program is hitting on all cylinders. Game experience - maybe best in the country. Recruiting - maybe best in the country. Beating rivals - yep.
If I'm a high school kid looking around the country trying to figure out where I want to play football, I would have a very hard time saying "no" to Texas.
I think we will soon level up to Georgia/Ohio State level and smash some mofos.
So, good job this year Sark. Not flawless, but good.
