If you would've said something like this about Charlie Kirk three months ago they would have gotten you fired from your job

Dems will sell out the country and bring in 100000000000000000 trashy people form sheethole countries. NO. I'd rather have a classless President who mostly does what needs to be done. Besides, it is fun to read the squealing from other countries when he squeezes their balls on tariffs, visas etc! when you talk to these retards and you confront them with any of the millions of factually awful things donald trump has done, their response is always the same: they gently scoff, smile, and/or laugh, genuinely amused that your tiny libtard mind has fallen for the mainstream media propaganda about “Mr.Trump” as they call him. these are the same type of people who will say, “an aggie never lies, cheats, or steals” and mean it with all of their heart, like it’s an objective fact. in their world, anyone who is (for example) horrified by a secret police force that’s disappearing US citizens (including veterans) with no due process, is just a hysterical liberal who believes everything that the crooked left wing media feeds them. they pity you for being so gullible, and then chuckle with their MAGAT friends and family about how hysterical and brainwashed *you* are. the denizens of texags are the personification of trumpers, which was cute and funny when they were confined to their WASPy little corner of the internet. but now there are tens of millions of them, and they have been empowered, and they decide our elections. the dumbest, most racist, hateful, overconfident losers you’ve ever known have now twice elected the dumbest, most racist, hateful, overconfident loser in American history, and i’m pretty sure that we’ll all be dead before this country ever resembles anything that existed before 2016, if we ever even recover enough to do so.
  7. i never met rob reiner but i had a short conversation with him once in the castle rock elevator where i interned in the summer of 1998. there were several celebrities who had deals with them back then, and they all had offices in the building, but most didn't really use them. i worked for meg ryan's production company and only met her once right at the end. i never saw billy crystal. i saw reiner a few times but had never spoken to him. then one day i got into the elevator which looked empty but he was in it. he recognized me from being around the bullpen - it wasn't that big of an area. i looked at him and he looked at me and then he asked "what's the yogurt flavor today?" i said, "i think it's chocolate chip". there was one flavor of frozen yogurt everyday in the commissary, but i didn't always go down there and i'm not sure i had that day. he looked at me and sighed, then said, "it was chocolate chip yesterday." i wish i had been able to say something clever, but instead i shrugged and said nothing and got out at the next stop. rip to a legend.

My wife and I were discussing this last night. My message was "I truly don't think you understand how much I am going to celebrate when he dies. Like, I won't be able to work for 3-4 days. Imagine how the western world celebrated when the Nazis surrendered. And how the French celebrated their liberation. We're talking that level of celebration."

I took some really damn strong mushrooms during Art Basel in miami and everyone seemed REALLY happy to me. I started asking random people if ‘it’ happened. Of course my friends knew what I was asking about and were laughing hysterically. Sadly when I came to my senses, asshole was still stealing oxygen.

The interesting thing is how little Trump and Musk know about what "soft power" is (well Musk just wanted to gut the agencies investigating his companies). I would like to think that we provided this aid because it's the right thing to do (and Christians can say it's because we are somehow a Christian nation). But the reality is that we did it because we wanted influence in that part of the world. We wanted American companies to be able to go in there and conduct business and bargain for resources. We wanted to keep the Soviets and then Russians, and now the Chinese out. China is absolutely going to fill the void that we are leaving all around the world. Deliberately destroying the means to influence other countries is huge part of how we will decline on the world stage.
  17. I’m not a religious person, but I grew up amongst them and know what true conviction and faith is. What she’s selling ain’t forgiveness. It ain’t grace. Truce grace and forgiveness are so fucking hard that it almost breaks you. You wrestle with it, it wanes, it ebbs. You’re never the same, but instead of holding onto the hurt and hate it allows you to heal. The only thing worse than forgiveness is not forgiving and holding onto it. Most people try to just block out the hurt than than attempt to forgive because that’s actually the easiest solution. But doesn’t ever work and it ends up metastasizing into some sort of character flaw or mental illness IMO. Best case? She’s doing performative forgiveness in an attempt to grift / make $. Worst / Likely IMO? She doesn’t have to forgive because she never really loved her husband and his death has just given her an opportunity / agency she has never had before. She has an organization and a platform to make her way. She might feel a little guilty but she secretly feels unburdened by her husband being murdered. 🤷‍♂️

"Look I don't necessarily agree with the pediophilia, the womanizing, repeated adultery, making fun of the crippled, inciting others to violence, incessant lying, the tax evasion, and decades of cheating his business partners however, my strong Christian values and convictions leave me no other choice!"

  24. Sounds like a number of players are starting to realize that there aren't greener pastures for them elsewhere in which they can get paid gobs of money while not being WR1 or TE1 or OG1 talent (yet). We'll all wait and see, and I'm sure a number of guys are still heading out, but the count so far has been less than expected. It's been assumed that some groups will be throwing crazy money around in the portal and maybe that's not happening (yet).
  25. - Creepy ass hand-drawn birthday card about their shared values and enigmatic ways - Sends personal lawyer to bribe the one living person with most with the most firsthand knowledge with a prison transfer and preferential VIP treatment. Floats the idea of a pardon - Doesn't allow a Democrat to be appointed to Congress during the shutdown, knowing she'll be the deciding vote - Tries to intimidate and threaten the Republicans voting for release after the shutdown - All over Epstein's emails - Multiple reports of the FBI scouring and sanitizing any files they currently have access to "They got nothing." Truly dazzling intellect on display here.
  26. Monday By Bobby Burton 1 hour ago The run on Longhorns headed to the portal has slowed precipitously. There’s been no real movement since the middle of last week. Which begs the next question. Will there be another run after the bowl game? Probably so. Behind the scenes, there have been multiple discussions from players contemplating their next steps. But what I think we’re down to now is a group of players who would rather be at Texas than elsewhere and who are yet to be resigned to not being a major contributor next year. In other words, the players in the portal currently are ones who saw no real path forward to meet their personal goals. The ones who have stayed still feel like there’s a path. So we’ll wait to hear more about bowl practice, which players are stepping up and perhaps creating a path for themselves into next season, which players aren’t, and then we’ll go from there. Of course the bowl game itself will tell us a lot, particularly on defense where the Horns will be down six starters. There’s plenty of opportunity for players to show us who they are and what they’ve got. ** Based on Gerry Hamilton’s reporting, it will be unsurprising if Michigan signee Malakai Lee either receives his release from the Wolverines or eventually enters his name into the transfer portal. Steve Sarkisian has had real success with a Michigan signee previously, that being first-round pick Xavier Worthy. Lee, who is 6-foot-6, 320 pounds, was long identified by Texas as that same level of a potential difference maker on the OL. Of course, it typically takes OLs longer than receivers to play in college, but Lee is thought to be an extremely high level prospect. Hook’Em!
  27. It's just so fucking sad. For those of us from a certain generation, Reiner's films practically shaped part of our childhoods. I was 10 when Stand By Me came out. 11 with Princess Bride. In high school when Misery and A Few Good Men were released. I started watching Princess Bride with my kid when he was 5 years old, probably the first non-animated film that he loved. We've seen it 5-6 times together. Time to fire it up again during Christmas break. RIP.
