  2. Fuck you. And fuck @BurntOrange&White and everyone else littering this thread with your unending negativity. According to you assholes Sark was going to be fired in November, our team was going to no-show in the bowl game, and our "all-in" portal strategy was going to be a bust. Well, sorry, but Sark is still the coach. Arch and the team balled out in the bowl game, showcasing the program for a title run in 2026. And now we're cleaning up in the portal by accumulating talent around our elite players in their final year: Arch, Goosby, Wingo, and Simmons. But Simkins Man, we don't have many good OL yet. Well actually, we have perhaps the best LT in the country returning when most players in his position would have gone pro. We have an experienced senior C coming back who sets the floor for the position. We have options at RT. And we are going to sign a couple of more offensive linemen. So seriously, fuck off with your bullshit. After Sunday no one wants to hear it any more.
  3. The most annoying this about this Portal is that leaving OL last has opened the door to the bane of every CFB board - this fucking guy: "Hmmm I see the plebes are excited about a skill position player. Only a true football knower like me knows that, in fact, linemen are important. The only way I can demonstrate my superior knowledge is by being a colossal dick about this."
  4. Stop acting like a god damned 6 year old and just wait. Your bellyaching does nothing but clutter up the thread and makes fuck all difference in the ultimate outcome. Go do something productive with your time and check back next week.
  5. If we’re just looking for a bunch of fat retards to round out the roster, have immamac send over the site user list.
  6. If I remember correct, his Mom was terrific during his recruitment out of high school. I've always cringed every time I see people talk about his performance, knowing that he's a very proud Longhorn. Thank you, Rosie & Connor! Good luck to you.
  7. WELLLLLLL this was my cowboy fireworks but turns out the kids pre-ghost Ebenezer Scrooge kind of greedy. Guess we will see how much excrement this costs me (Still might happen btw) Lets call this the 3rd of July....
  8. Thank you. This board needs standards.
  9. Been keeping track of this for the past few days. Arch followed him on instagram last week, and he followed back. Seaton also followed Colin Simmons in the last day or two.
  10. The entire experience was flat out wild. Suh and that DL had been good all year, but they went fucking nuts in that game. I knew all year that the OL was the biggest weakness on the team, but that game made them look like high schoolers. Yet, there we were, the #3 team in the country and just needed a win to go to the Rose Bowl. I don’t remember which idiot WR had two steps on a defender only to drop what would have been a touchdown pass, but that added to the drama. Then McCoy holds the ball too long and almost blows the whole game-winning drive. Shawn Watson walks over when Nebraska thinks they won and is visibly talking shit to McCoy and Texas. Then they put one second back on the clock and Mack the Kicker Whisperer does his thing with Lawrence or whoever it was at the time. Last game I took my dad to before he was too frail to handle the stadium walks. Thought he was having a heart attack on the final offensive play before the FG. The whole time I just kept thinking, “but this is Nebraska. there’s no way they’re winning this game, right?” and sure enough, they didn’t. The bitching about one second will never get old for me. Fuck those gasbags and I hope they’re enjoying college football hell.
  11. He said per snap, not pre snap
  12. Cooper Manning told me at the OU game he logs on every morning to see what 6th Street is posting
  13. Flood was telling people in August that he thought the best combination for the starting 5 was Goosby-Hutson-Robertson-Campbell-Baker. He was worried about losing Hutson at C for the line calls, but he thought that Umeozulu was going to get Manning killed and/or rack up a bunch of dumb penalties. Next thing I knew, there was word from camp that Connor Stroh had surpassed Neto and was looking good at LG. That is when all of our antennae went up on this board and the collective head was scratched. My theory is that he convinced himself, somehow, that Stroh was a better Guard than Robertson was a Center. Stroh was one of his guys and he really wanted that to work out. On the one hand, I'm encouraged that the guy knew what his best starting 5 was. On the other hand, that hope is snuffed out by the fact that he chose, instead, to play the worst Guard in UT history, and he did so long enough to ensure that Texas was going to be unlikely to make the playoffs.
  14. Something better happen soon, I’m in the process of wrapping up RGBIII’s poop bag.
  15. Bobby mentioned this morning that Ryan Wingo’s dad reached out to Cam Coleman’s dad yesterday after his commitment. Coleman’s presence is really going to help open things up for Mosley and Wingo.

My good friend is an ER doc in Twin Cities. Said ICE was all over his ED with their detainees. Not wearing uniforms or visitor passes. Armed. Apparently he went up to every last one, asked them where their badges were, and told them he was walking them out of the ER because they didn't have vistor badges and that's the policy. They told him "we're cool we don't need one. just let us do this blah blah blah." He said absolutely not, got hospital security to back him up etc. In his words..."and then they all went to put on visitor badges like the little bitches they are.:" He also saved a guy from getting snatched up and deported but that's another story. I'm very proud of him saving lives while in the middle of his job saving lives.
  17. I remember when you decided it was your duty to repeatedly say this same type of shit heading into Jake Majors’ senior season at C during that offseason. It was powerful stuff. The groundswell of support for your bravery echoed through the structural bones at Bellmont, Flood heard your demands and everything changed. Wait. No, no that’s not right. Oh yes, now it’s coming to me - nothing you bawled about mattered, Majors started all season and wound up joining an NFL organization. Keep tilting at those windmills though. They’ll fall down eventually. Make sure you leave no room for the possibility of player improvement. The Texas approach is to lock up the key roles now. Once that work is finished, we may see a flurry of additions that don’t cost anything more than scholarships. If some of those guys play their way into snaps, they’ll get some upside in future rev share. This is what they started doing in recruiting in the 2026 cycle and it sounds like they’re amplifying that in 2027. There is only so much time, employee headcount and money. No org can do everything. It’s great to plan, but also be flexible because who does or does not go into the portal becomes a real time issue. I know they fucked up the OL situation, but I’m interested in seeing if they can course correct with who is actually out there now. Everything else has gone according to plan A, or then plan B, or then plan C. OL? They flunked plan A and now we cross our fingers.
  18. First comment. Like fucking clockwork. No surprise here: Yep. Reed is “better.” Unless you count head-to-head performance and TD:INT ratio in big games. Reggie is still better than Vince, I bet.
  19. IT says early teams to watch on Seaton are Texas, Oregon, Georgia, and Florida.
  20. The abject despair and bewilderment on the Finebaum show right now is beyond description. It has to be experienced. It's like video suicide hotline with a dick shaped MC.

Second story from my ER friend.... ICE agents are gathered outside this one room. He assumes waiting for the patient to be released so they can snatch him up. He calls the hospital attorney, who says ask them for a judicial warrant. If they show you an administrative warrant or anything other than a judicial warrant, tell them they're trespassing and need to leave the property. So he goes and asks if they have a warrant. They do. Administrative. He starts to tell them to leave and they say "ok we know,. We'll leave." First time it happened. Thanks to my buddy they now have a hospital wide policy to ask for warrants and tell ICE to GTFOut unless they have a judicial warrant. Now he's out delivering food to peoples' cleaning ladies etc. on his day off. People he and his friends know who are afraid to leave their homes. This dude's been one of my best friends for 3+ decades now. Ever since we were kids. My joke for him was "man I had no idea you were such a good person. I always thought you were sort of an asshole sometimes" 😄
  22. We will not be square with that piece of shit fanbase and others like it for another two centuries. Fuck all of them and I hope they die cursing Texas as Texas is hoisting another trophy on TV.
  23. Poor Alabraska... alGoodman: The day Alabama football became an underdogThe running back that Alabama wanted chose Texas. The receiver that Alabama wanted went to Texas, too. What's next? Goodman: The day Alabama football became an underdog Updated: Jan. 12, 2026, 6:43 a.m.|Published: Jan. 12, 2026, 6:08 a.m. By Joseph Goodman | jgoodman@al.com This is an opinion column. It’s tough to see the Crimson Tide take it to the teeth again and again and again. First it was the pummeling at the Rose Bowl and now Texas is taking its turn rearranging Alabama’s battered face. The image of Alabama football might never be the same again. Alabama forgot how to run the ball last season. It was embarrassing to watch. The Tide’s top running back rushed for 13 yards on five carries in the 38-3 loss to Indiana. Quarterback Ty Simpson had the longest run for an Alabama back, but he broke a rib and fumbled the football on the play. Not good. Sad stuff. The problems with Alabama’s running game were all going to change in the offseason, though. Coach Kalen DeBoer had big plans. He was going to bring in a transfer running back and reignite the flame. Yeah, about that … Alabama was set to sign a new running back last week. Hollywood Smothers (great name) was planning to leave N.C. State for Alabama. That Alabama didn’t already have five running backs better than a guy at N.C. State would make Nick Saban toss his Oatmeal Creme Pies, but let’s focus on one new reality at a time. On Friday, Smothers flipped his commitment to Texas and coach Steve Sarkisian. Oof. But the hits didn’t stop there. Texas also landed former Auburn receiver Cam Coleman on Sunday despite a max-effort push by Alabama that included hiring Coleman’s receivers coach away from the Tigers. Is it just the money, or is the problem Alabama’s coaches and their broken offense, too? Either way, these are bitter days in Tuscaloosa. Don’t forget that Alabama also lost receiver Isaiah Horton to the transfer portal. On Sunday evening, news broke that Horton was headed to Texas A&M. A new week is here and so is a different perception of Alabama. The Crimson Tide is officially a college football underdog. Alabama can’t run the ball against Indiana, and it can’t outspend the schools in Texas. Is Alabama poor? Oh, wait. I know. If that’s the case, then no doubt future football governor Tommy Tuberville will know how to fix it. Until then, Alabama football is looking more and more like Ole Miss every day. Is it enough for Alabama to simply limp into the playoffs these days? Maybe that’s the new measure of success. I’ll take 11 wins and a beat down by Indiana over missing the party altogether. How does Alabama football get off the ropes and punch back? I don’t have an answer for that, but the beatings continue. Alabama’s loss to Indiana in the College Football Playoff was the kind of thing that can reshape college football history, but losing all of Alabama’s players to Texas year after year is worse. First it was receiver Isaiah Bond after the Iron Bowl. Bond was the hero of the 2023 Iron Bowl. He’s the player who caught the pass from Jalen Milroe in the back of the end zone. Bond was going to be an Alabama legend forever. Then he made a “business decision” to leave Alabama for Austin. We thought it couldn’t get any worse, but that was just the beginning of Alabama’s losses to Texas. Coleman and Smothers would rather play with Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, and I can’t really blame them. Who’s going to be Alabama’s quarterback next season? No one knows. It’s either forever backup Austin Mack, or unproven underclassman Keelon Russell. I was hoping the Tide could maybe lure former Arizona State triggerman Sam Leavitt out of the transfer portal, but that was a pipe dream. Leavitt, the top-rated quarterback in the portal, is expected to choose between Miami and Tennessee. Some readers thought I was crazy on Saturday when I wrote that Auburn is better positioned for the future than Alabama. Then Sunday happened. Will Alabama ever win another national championship? Seems ridiculous to even ask the question, but things come and go. Remember when Yale and Princeton ruled college football? Then it was Notre Dame and Michigan for a time. What about Alabama? Yeah, the Crimson Tide had a good run, too, but that was before money changed everything. The running back that Alabama wanted chose Texas. The receiver that Alabama wanted went to Texas, too. Horton, a returning starter at receiver, is off to Texas A&M. Who’s going to be on Alabama’s offensive line next season? No one knows that either. Everyone left. Right tackle Wilkin Formby would have been a returning starter, but then he went to … you guessed it … Texas A&M. Alabama’s offensive line was pretty bad last season, but can it get even worse? When you’re an underdog like Alabama, it’s best to keep the salaries low and expectations even lower.

Honestly, these health predictions with Trump infuriate me. All it does is encourage people to sit on their hands and wait for him to die. It's so fucking stupid. Assume the guy is immortal and fucking act accordingly.

  27. The whole thing has been a mystery to me since I heard about it a long time ago. That said, this is one of two “moonshots” that I’ve been from Missouri on. He’s halfway there now. Like the Zen Master said, “we’ll see”.
  28. Does Texas make sense here, Atticus?
  29. I'm gonna start negging serifs.
  30. Yeah... which guy would you rather play for? Marcel Reed who didn't break 250 yards passing in 5 of his last six games, 10 TDs vs 8 INTs, a declining QBR in every game, and barely 250 yards of total offense Or Arch Manning vs better competition throwing for over 250 yards in 4 of his last 6 including 4 ranked opponents, 14TDs vs 2 INTs, and a QBR in the 90's in 4 of his last 6 games, and around 350 yards of total offense in 4 of 6 games.
  31. New gif to add here?
  32. Kirkendoll. What a deflating drop that was.
  33. David and his brother Abe are Texas grads, and while he's undoubtedly going after top dollar, he doesn't hide his affinity for Texas and has also helped get kids home. The Atkinson recruitment this cycle is a good example - David's frat brothers during his time on campus included Earl, Wells, Keenan, Marquise, J Hills. Atkinson's dad is an active member of that same fraternity, was introduced to Hills (via Dawit), which led to training with Hills and DJ. I'd expect he will only be involved in "five star" type recruitments, but the kids he represents will hear about Texas for sure.
  34. I listened to way too much Finebaum today and it was just very sad. Basically a bunch of elderly Bama fans surviving on social security checks whining about how Texas ruined college football. New conference, same old shit. Some low lights: Paul accused Texas of paying players from an illegal NIL fund. I was speechless. He just flat out said it. No subtlety at all. Bama fans predictably want to take their ball and go home. Many “I’m losing interest in college football” calls and “I don’t watch the NFL” bullshit. Some regards that work at Wal Mart claiming to understand private equity and collective bargaining. Shocker, Bama fans want to PE to come in to bail their poor asses out.

Look guys. I get it. Y'all are all excited about the skill players. We all are. I just want to remind you that we had a great season in 2024. Made it to the SECCG in year 1 and to the semis in the CFP. That said, we rushed for 29 yards and lost to Georgia at home. We rushed for 31 yards and lost to Georgia in the SECCG. We rushed for 58 yards and lost to Ohio State in the semis, with the game ending when one of our linemen, notorious for whiffing on pass protection, whiffed on pass protection causing a strip sack for a TD. Michigan had just rushed for 172 yards on Ohio State. Had we been able to do that, we win that game. We only rushed for 53 on Arizona State but Quinn saved us with 322 and 3 TDs. A quality offensive line is a must to win a championship. You cannot 1 dimensional your way to a title. You saw that this year as our O-line caused 2 of our 3 losses.
  36. Yes, yes. That was NIL when you got the number one class. Wait. Jimbo said it wasn’t. Oh, right, it was illegally buying players, just like every other period of “success” in Texas A&M history. Like when Jackie and RC were cheating. And Charlie Moran was cheating. The oldest aggy turdition. Keep crying, boys. And Elko “one upped” us by losing to us again and making the playoff by virtue of beating the worst SEC schedule in history Pooooooooooor Aggies.
  37. I went to the game in Lincoln the next fall and I only regret that I did not buy one of the many :01 Husker shirts that were available around the stadium. I was sure we were going to lose, but we ended up rubbing their noses in it one more time as they fled the conference.
  38. The Nebraska offense had 106 total yards in that game. And zero touchdowns. If Watson was shit-talking after that game, he deserves the Johnny Jolly "Know When To Celebrate" award.
  39. We should bring Ty Haywood in for a visit just to fuck with Bama.
