Here we go. I expect to load the bases followed by a double play.

Yep. He should have played it like it was gonna be caught.

Sometimes he walks. Id tell him not to swing at all.

Sure, but not overwhelmingly so. In this series, they could be anywhere from 0-3 to 3-0, and they are about to be 3-0 largely due to them playing harder, running out plays, and not making stupid mistakes. They haven't just out "bettered" the Astros this series. Its because they are doing the things that even little league managers yell at their kids to do. We are all Longhorn fans so I get it. You probably think OU is just always "better" than us too and it doesn't matter when a DB quits on a play where he is beat anyway. OU DBs never quit on plays. Neither do the Rays. That's why they win.

Yep. That drops in on our defense. They laid out for it.

Reddick loafed because he thought it was gonna be caught. Difference in the game really. They are playing to win. Astros aren't.

Yeah, took some perfect defense for the Astros in 2017 too. There were 2 perfectly thrown outs at home in the ALCS alone.

Most high schoolers make that throw.

Sure it does. Half the field is wide open most of the time. Most of the lineup is capable of making light contact.

Need to quit swinging away. Go for the bloops. Beat the shift.

It will end up that way because the Astros heads aren't in the game now. But we aren't simply outmatched by the Rays. Id rather be outmatched. Zero chance and no doubt. Easier to take. You can take one WS game 7 as a fan. But we are about to take 4 straight of them. The shittier thing is that the Astros are capable of winning 4 straight against the Rays still. And that draws suckers like me back in.

Would rather just get blown out really.

Bullshit. If you hold your bat in an unorthodox manner, hand should be part of the bat. Series is over anyway. Errors make the difference.

Fuck. Game killer. I would have left Urquidy in though.

To be fair, it isnt like they are hitting a ton of balls out either.

Snell and Morton weren't sharp either. Yet here we are.

So the White Sox are going to hire both a "cheating" manager and player? I guess I never heard them bitch about it as much as the Dodgers or Yankees so maybe they don't care. What does the one White Sox fan have to say about it?

Well, there's only a lot of baseball left if the Astros win today. They are in must win territory now, but if they do win today, they take it to at least 6, win or lose game 4, I think.

Eh. I like the day games. Astros do too. Let's play them all early.

They are. But also lucky. But Astros were lucky some too. Could have been a 7 to 5 game. Or 5 to 1 in either direction. Instead its 2 to 1 Rays. At any rate, Astros werent simply outclassed.

Is Reddick a definite upgrade over either of them lately? Maybe pinch hit him for Diaz. Maldonado has some all or nothing hits in him.

Walking that dude was alright. He was all over Raley. Just missing by inches.

ALCS: Astros vs Rays
They remind me of caps you see in tourist shops in old people beach towns.

Even Straw wouldn't have scored on that. The ball was in the infield before Brantley hit 3rd. Straw would have been just barely around 3rd.
