  1. Funny. From what I can tell, most of the dumb people get accepted at A&M. Seriously, I know tons of people whose quite average kids are getting accepted there. WHOOP (I guess)!
  2. Just one more reason they are who they are. WHOOP!
  3. I don’t give a shit about that kid. He went to OU. Fuck him. No matter what his reasoning is. He could have gone there to feed homeless kids. Fuck him. Hope the kids shank him.
  4. Thanks for all of that. Definitely don’t want to out the guy if he doesn’t want to be outed. I just wanted to commemorate this bit of UT history. It was a big deal at the time, but almost seems lost to history since I have seen nothing written down about it anywhere. Seems a lifetime ago. I’m sure thousands and thousands of UT fans don’t know anything about it. If you could get some pics from the guy, that would be awesome. This should be remembered, and does kind of go with the Scott Wilson memories. That would be excellent.
  5. Tell me more about the old Chevy. I remember it from games back in the ‘80s. Obviously the cheerleaders didn’t use it once the track was removed from Memorial Stadium. I always thought of it as our version of the “Rambling Wreck,” but I haven’t been able to find info on it over the last few years. Whose car was it? What was it called? Was there any history to the car or was it just some guy’s antique car? When did it stop being part of pregame activities? Seems like that was well before the track was removed. Sorry for the aside, but I’ve wondered about that car for years. I don’t see any references to it on any University pages. I always saw it, but never really paid any attention to it back in the day.
  6. I think he was referring to logos used on team gear. Fields and courts often have logos that aren’t used on merch
  7. This thread is like a mutant version of AI. It’s learning and growing, but everyone should be leery of how and where it goes. It’s not remotely self-aware and it will most likely kill us all eventually.
  8. To be fair, Barry Switzer isn’t just a Sooner. He’s the Baker Mayfield of football coaches. An irredeemable piece of shit who was probably hated by his own mother. He ranks down there with Jackie Sherrill as the dregs of the earth. Fuck Barry Switzer with flesh-eating bacteria.
  9. This is the women’s sports versus the greatest armies in world history thread, Sir.
  10. Their degrees were devalued when they committed to becoming a diploma mill. And when they decided to admit over 60% of applicants. And if they cared about an education, they wouldn’t go to Moscow on the Brazos. But they didn’t win them.
  11. Cut this shit out. It’s insufferable and there is an entire board for it. Take it elsewhere.
  12. Yeah, his dedication is unrivaled. I am sure there are lots of Horn fans who go to hundreds of games, but there aren’t many who go to all of them.
