  1. Prison stuff is about the only reality TV that I enjoy and yeah there are a lot of very unintelligent people in jail. Men's lockup is like 7th grade but half the inmates also have some sort of untreated violent behavior disorder. I find it all fascinating though.

I think Miller pretty clearly has worked very hard to be 1b
  3. Probably a similar route, I did Newcastle to London and yeah it was beautiful. Raining of course.
  4. I'm an atheist, but my understanding of the post-game "all glory to God" is just an acknowledgement and appreciation for God giving them the opportunity and ability to play, not literally for picking a winner. The performative Christianity is definitely eyerolly but player interviews are about the dumbest thing in the world already. They are only watched because we (collectively) are too lazy to change the channel after the game.
  5. I still like new Chappelle. No it's not as joke filled, but I could listen to him tell a story all day. The mix of spoken word is just fine by me. Though for a while there I was wishing he would just give up on the trans stuff. It wasn't offensive to me but he seemed to get obsessed just because a small group of people told him he "can't say that"
  6. I have a few shirts and they are great. I wash them in the sink/shower and hang them up overnight, only had a problem drying in mega humid locations like Vietnam and Thailand. The real star is the hoodie. I'll wear it for any day above freezing up to 65 or 70. Super light, looks great, can stuff down pretty small for the backpack. Internal "travel" pockets if you are worried about pickpockets. I do most of my travels in spring and fall and seem to wear it near every day. Darn tough socks are also the must haves.
  7. How overrated is the sec lol
  8. Parents had some Canadian friends in town a few weeks ago. Their province has a bourbon ban so they stocked up with a few bottles to take back.
  9. Other than truth social is there somewhere to read these 200 tweets?
  10. The woman on the left runs libsoftiktok on twitter, possibly the most influential driver of right wing outrage culture and really daily maga "news" in the country. Yes it's insane, but it's also true, she is far more influential than fox news or tucker Carlson or really anyone other than trump himself.
  11. Merry Christmas to those that do and don't celebrate. Cherish this time with family and friends even though they may annoy you so much.
  12. It will most likely go at the former site of the water slide that decapitated a kid.
  13. These aren't anything, they were with the original "we're interested" presentation ks had a year or two ago. An architect hasn't even been chosen yet.
  14. The legacy networks got ahold of streaming and are putting on their normal network crap but now you can say "fuck" so it's edgy. There is still a lot of fun and unique television being made. Certainly miles ahead of the film industry.
  15. Yes, I roll my eyes at all these attention seekers
  16. Apparently I'm the only white millennial male on this website so I guess I'll give a bit of my perspective. My experience is in commercial construction in a non-racially diverse area. The company I worked for was all genx upper leadership, vast majority millennial labor (both white and blue collar), and a handful of boomer mercs doing sales/bus development while waiting for retirement. Sidenote, I never saw a non-boomer in any sales or business development role, kind of odd. As a regional subcontractor/supplier I was able to work closely with companies from under 10 employees to those with a national/global presence. We were always looking for people on the blue collar side so basically if you could pass the welding test or whatever equivalent you were hired. There didn't appear to be any favoritism or discrimination with women. White collar is a bit different. My observation throughout the industry was certainly that being a woman added a bonus positive quality to career progression. This doesn't mean incompetent women were being hired or promoted, just that unspoken value discussed all over this thread of "all things being equal, we'll go with the woman". This never made me angry or anything, I just looked at it similar to how fat and ugly people are disadvantaged, or in my case how a "shy" quiet guy who is very uncomfortable with small talk will top out at a level before someone comfortable with talking to clients. Construction is still male dominated and I didn't mind the efforts equalize things. That's all, merry Christmas.
  17. I'm not so sure I agree with you. Not including the "families with money" as we are talking about here there is a huge value in just having family support to fall back on. During trump 1.0 a trumpy acquaintance of mine was going on the usual "well my family was middle class and mommy and daddy didn't pay for my college and I had to live at home after graduation to save money to buy a house, where's my white privilege? Why can't everyone else just do that?". I told him being a white male second Gen college graduate that was able to live rent free with his parents is a massive privilege that he for some reason thinks of as a hardship. No his parents aren't rich, but he'll never be homeless or unable to aquire appropriate clothes for an interview. Anyway he's a recruiter for corporate dentists or something now. Also still a total fucking moron and one of the stupidest people I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with.

It's a struggle, yesterday was just a really "bad" day. Pain meds not working, stomach doing acrobatics, barely strong enough to get from the living room to the bathroom, just everything fucking sucked. It had me scared about how maybe the decline is faster than I thought and I was reevaluating my entire timeline outlook. Today has been a very very "good" day. The swing is wild and all the stuff that seemed overwhelming and sucked has been totally minimal and easy to deal with. It's a real motherfucker mentally as I continue to give up more control of my life and let other people do things for me. Something else that has been really hard is my dog died back in August. I adopted her 6 months before I was diagnosed and she was an absolute rock in my life, a soulmate dog if there ever was one. She got me though the dark chemo days the way only the non-stop love of a pitbull can. Going through yesterday without her snoring on my lap was very difficult and I would have given all the money I have left for her to be back with me.
  19. I'm confused about if you thought this was a better picture?
  20. Perhaps a "final solution" to the Islamic question?
  21. Saw this in Japan
  22. MJF would approve. As a side note, if you haven't seen his doc on apple+, it's very very good.
