huh? what? wait a minute... what is that? do i detect some optimism from ol' brisket? well, if Beto can bring back brisket, then i reckon he can beat Cruz.
  2. I thought Card had a good scrimmage. He threw the ball well and on time. His arm is really progressing and he is making the right reads. Some examples below:
  3. not really. it was back when he was running Blackwater USA. i was representing a military consulting firm. we were both working in and with the UAE royal family at the time. sat across from the guy in several meetings and meals and he always struck me as having the sort of personality that i would expect from a serial killer. and this was before any of the bad stuff came out on him. i worked with a lot of operators back then. guys that would kill bad guys without blinking an eye. but prince was different. and it wasnt just me that felt that way about him. he creeped out my whole team.
  4. LT is scrimmaging Cedar Ridge tonight. I am looking forward to watching Card play. I will be back after the scrimmage with a completely unbiased opinion and review on Card...
  5. Rudy is not this stupid. I will not follow his stupid whataboutism. A candidate can not launder money through intermediaries in a deliberate and intentional attempt to thwart campaign finance laws for the purpose of influencing an election and defrauding the American electorate. It is a felony in and of itself and conspiring with others to do so is a felony that is punishable by longer prison sentences.
  6. Cohen, Pecker, Sessions, etc... these type of guys don't flip on you unless they know its a sinking ship. He is done.
  7. It is just a matter of time at this point. He is done.
  8. I have met and worked with Erik Prince. This is spot on. Probably the most evil, corrupt, and frightening human being i have ever worked around. A truly bad man.
  9. i think yall are crazy. i thought the last two episodes or so were outstanding! this week's episode was really good television. yes, the series could have been edited to 90 minutes or so but its been an enjoyable show thus far, especially the last few weeks. i am looking forward to next week!
  10. LIKE Beto. but not Beto. EXACTLY LIKE Beto, but different. someone else. (or Beto).
  11. the worst thing the Democrats could do is trot out a far left socialist democrat. the best thing they could do is trot out someone who has great ideas and is beyond the left/right bullshit. someone like Beto.

if that is his only "moment" then i agree with you. But if he keeps having "moments" like that, he going to win. You see it. Trust yourself. Right now, Beto is capturing the imagination of the entire nation. He is HOPE personified. He can win. And you know it.

these are the types of moments that turn elections. beto is going to win.
  14. promising pardons to others to protect yourself is obstruction of justice and ultimately led to Nixon's resignation.

this beto/anthem protest video has gone full viral at this point.

When did the NATIONAL ANTHEM become about honoring military veterans? It is the NATIONAL ANTHEM, not the military anthem or the veteran anthem. It is about our NATION, not military. It is about each and everyone of us, not just the military. It is about being a patriot, not a soldier. It is about all of the freedoms and rights we have in this nation and celebrating our way of life, not about the service of the military. The National Anthem is a celebration of America, including but not limited to the military. When a player kneels, he isnt disrespecting the military, as pointed out above the Anthem has nothing to do with the military specifically, instead he is silently and peacefully protesting that the rights and freedoms enjoyed in our great Nation by some are not enjoyed by all and that needs to change. There is zero disrespect in this form of protest.
  17. I think it was to inoculate it against Trump's attacks on Mueller and to make sure that probably the most important key to the investigation, the lynch pin, would not stop even if Trump fired Mueller. What is he going to do run around firing every Asst US Atty that is investigating him?
  18. I did that up above.
  19. This is like when Rocky hit Drago and he bled. Mueller hit Trump today and he bled. Trump is just a man. And like Drago, he is going down hard.
  20. We have a Democratic Senator from Alabama. We are about to have one from the great State of Texas. Fuck all this noise. They may not convict and remove but they will persuade him to resign or they will make his life hell. If he doesnt resign and allow a Republican President to step in for him, he will not be pardoned when the Democrats win the WH in 2020. If he wants to fight upstream against a Democratically controlled House and a divided Senate that despises him until he loses in 2020 and is prosecuted after he leaves office then so be it. The only way he avoids prison is to resign. Trump's Presidency effectively ended today.
  21. while unfortunate, its a hell of a lot better than the Trump train barreling down the train tracks.
  22. And he did these acts before becoming President when he was still candidate Trump. If he doesnt resign, do they indict and wait for him to be removed or lose to prosecute?
  23. I didnt say they would. I said they should. And frankly, from a strategy standpoint, how do you go into the midterms with a President who is an uni-indicted co-conspirator to commit felony federal election campaign violations? He can't campaign for anyone now. He is damaged goods. The rule of law is coming for Mr. Trump. Cohen didn't need to "cooperate" outside of agreeing to name the President of the United States as a co-conspirator in a federal conspiracy to defraud the American voters, and unfairly and illegally influence the election. nah, i think that works just fine.
  24. Republicans should force him to resign asap.
  25. The President of the United States is officially an un-indicted co-conspirator to felony federal campaign finance violations.
