You'll be pumped to know that I've been doing some menu exploring over there and we've come to the conclusion that the pinnacle of the menu is the chicken flauta dish w/ green sauce; sub charro instead of refried. Doing a half order and adding a couple of open-faced beef tacos is just showing off.
Also, house margarita en-fuego style is a solid upgrade.
Purchased a commercial oscillating fan for our patio from Hydromist. They actually have an office over in the Metric area where I picked up the fan.
There are certainly days where I kick myself for not going all-out for the misting system, but the fan itself does a really good job of pushing around some air and making the patio bearable.
Zubers River Camp (formerly Magers) is right across the Frio from Garner. You can cross at the dam and get over to Old Baldy if that's your schtick.
Much nicer place to camp than the actual park that has 9:00 curfews and prohibits displays of alcohol consumption.
Yeah and I hate the fact that they went away from the fitted options. Used to have a nice Texas script on the back of them. Although their sizes were ridiculously inconsistent so buying online was a bit of a risk. Really glad they're back though. CDC is a hero.

OK, I can see how that works now.
Appreciate the reply and I might hit PM you for those plans if I can get my list of "fun" projects out of the way. Or if I can get my carpenter friend freed up from table-making...
Well, damn.
Honestly, just didn't know if there was some sort of burial location/legal name connection that had to be upheld. I was going to ask my mom, but...
Mother passed away back in the mid-90's and there's always been just the standard grave marker that the cemetery places to mark the location. With mother's day coming up, I was thinking about getting a proper headstone done.
Question that I have is do you have to put the legal name at the time of death? Backstory is that she was going through the process of a divorce from someone who was in her life for a very short time before the cancer won its battle. Guy was kind of a piece of shit and his last name isn't something I'd want going on her eternal resting place. As next-of-kin, and headstone financier, would I have the option to use just her maiden name instead?
Beaux Seafood is $6/lb but I think you've got to watch their FB page to time it out right for pickup. Think you might be able to call and put in an order to be held.
