Arch Manning: Scores every way possible
Yeah, Gilbert was recruited to run a spread offense and Mack forced a pro set, one that Davis was awful at calling, because McCoy got hurt and Alabama bludgeoned the defense with their running game. I don't blame Gilbert for not being able to adjust with a shitty OL and below average skill players.

Houston's magic number for the playoffs is 7.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
This wasn't an issue with Wingo. Why did Arch who had amble green in front of him and to the right decide to loop back around his blockers who were engaged with the UTEP defender to run away from where Wingo was going? Arch know the routes just like the WR, It would have made more sense to run right to clear the LBs in the middle of the field and allow Wingo to also run to green grass.

Deion Sanders "Coach Prime" Now At Colorado
@closetojumping could beat Shadeur Sanders in a foot race. There is nothing similar between Jackson and Sanders concerning their styles of play.

Texas Football 2025 - Seven Win Steve Rides Again
He is a true freshman that is only playing because Wisner and Baxter are hurt. I do agree though he needs to be the primary back against Sam Houston. Clark seems to have no explosion and Gibson is untrustworthy due his fumbling.

Holy shit, I am laughing so hard. I do feel bad from Simon. How can a coach let Stroh go back out there after this play? I think Hutson understands he might get Wally Pipp'd on Saturday.

I don't mind it because he has a 1.5 BB9, I like my closers that throw strikes.

Caley is getting destroyed on X. This job is to big for him, he does nothing to help Stroud and plays shitty players over the more explosive rookies while using condensed formations.

Astros are 6-4 against the Angels. They are only team we have a winning record against in the division. We are currently 6-6 with the Rangers, 5-5 with the Mariners, and 4-6 against the A's.

Houston Astros 2025 Season Thread
Nope, we need 5-1 to claim the HTH against both the Rangers and the Mariners. Anything less, invites a lot of problems over the final 6 games. The Astros win today, they all but eliminate the Rangers from the playoffs. Win today moves the Astros 5 games up on Rangers which really means a 6 game lead due to the HTH. The Rangers would basically have to win their remaining 9 games to have any shot of catching the Astros.

Yeah, he should have gone down after the 1st down and not at the 1, because if you make them waste their TOs and get a 1st down. They don't ever get the ball back. But I don't expect smart situational football from a DeMeco coached team. I love the guy, but he's not a good football IQ coach, especially considering his teams continued lack of discipline 3 years into the job.

Huckleberry. But to recap. Cole was with the organization all sesaon, but wasn't added to the 40 man roster until after the deadline. He needs a exemption for a injured player currently on the 40 man roster, which shouldn't be a problem. To be eligible for an MLB postseason roster, a player must be in the organization's organization as of 11:59 p.m. ET on August 31 and must have been on the 40-man roster or the injured list (IL). Players acquired through waivers, trades, or any other means after this deadline are ineligible for the postseason roster. Key Criteria for Eligibility: August 31 Deadline: The player must be part of the team's organization by 11:59 p.m. ET on August 31. 40-man roster: Players must have been on their team's 40-man roster by the deadline. Injured List: Players on the team's injured list (including the 60-day IL) as of the August 31 deadline are also eligible. In-Season Suspension: A player who was suspended for a performance-enhancing drug (PED) violation during the season is ineligible for postseason play that year. Exceptions for Special Circumstances: A player who doesn't meet the Aug. 31 criteria can still become eligible if they were in the organization on Aug. 31 and are replacing an injured player on the roster. The replacement player must have served the minimum time required for activation off the injured list (e.g., 10 days for the 10-day IL, 60 days for the 60-day IL).

He was only added to the 40 man when he got called up. According to the info that was posted earlier that would make him ineligible unless he gets a waiver due to injury.

What I wanted was a better 2-point conversion call than that dumbass RB not understanding blitz pickup and the OC not understanding Tampa was coming with an all out blitz again.

Caserio needs to be fired. Year 3 with rookie contract Stroud and the OL has gotten worse. Ryans needs to be held accountable for two horrible OC hires.

This team isn't going anywhere with the current organization. 3 years and Ryans hires two 1st year OCs and Caserio refuses to do anything to improve the OL.
