  1. That’s a lot of words. I wouldn’t touch the 6.9 wins and don’t think anyone but aggy thinks it’s a remotely accurate prediction. That’s absurd and shows a significant flaw in his model (as you explained). Bill is getting quite defensive about the issue. It’s going to be fun reminding him of his posturing throughout the season.
  2. Probably because tx state returned most of its defense. Obviously a great gauge of expected performance. Clemson lost a lot to the NFL on defense, so I fully expect Mond and co to tear them up next week.
  3. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/27461638/college-football-conference-previews-storylines-using-sp+ Yes, Texas is 31st. FPI has the Longhorns just 26th, too. Tom Herman's propensity for overachieving in big games but underachieving in the smaller ones leaves his teams ripe for upsets and forever drags them down from a numbers perspective. Texas fans have spent the offseason yelling things like "Yeah, we only beat Tulsa by a touchdown, but we physically dominated them! We were never threatened!" That's great. Clemson and Alabama would have beaten Tulsa by 48 without turning to the second page of the playbook. To look like title contenders, Texas has to treat every game like a Big Game, not just two or three.
  4. You couldn’t for last year’s Texas team.
  5. That’s a penis. An aggy penis
  6. Just sign up for att tv now free 1 week trial if you’re poor / cheap like me.
  7. Damn. If that’s what fatball looks like, I don’t like our chances.
  8. Not a bad way to celebrate your 50th birthday
  9. Ok bruh. You’re cool
  10. Not really what was said...I don’t watch LHN (or other cable tv channels) outside of football. It’d be a better value proposition for me if I watched more tv.
  11. This was meant to be a PSA for posts like the one above (geographic restrictions), but maybe some of us don’t have “systems” that we can add “sports” packages to. Further, it’s simply not rational to buy a tv package with a sports package for 2 games when you don’t expect to use the service for anything else.
  12. AT&T Tv now has a free 7 day trial with LHN.
  13. I’m not sure why we’re even showing up.
  14. That’s a huge punter. Scares you to death.
  15. I can write one too. Texas lost several starters from last year’s team, but the talent replacing them is better. Prediction: Better
  16. Little elm ISD...closed
  17. Your mother tried to double down, but I kicked her out.
  18. Not really sure how we all missed that one. I was thinking it’d be Whittington that would rip off a 60 yd td on 10/12, but this makes much more sense.
  19. Lunch pail guy that really understands the system he’s working in, but much higher ceiling than Toby Gerhart.
  20. Exactly. Smith reminds me of mike alstott.
  21. Obviously Herman didn’t know Sam at that point, but point taken (coach gonna coach speak).
  22. And it’s a great way to clean your drug money.
  23. Yeah...he’s definitely more of a Reggie Bush.
  24. Someone really hates aggy
  25. Our coaches have no idea how to scheme against that. Doomed
