This is the weakest argument. How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he request a budget for ICE that is larger than the Marines? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he pull Border Patrol from the border to arrest anyone who they feel like? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did DHS ignore Federal Court orders to release anyone held in detention? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he call up the National Guard to "protect" federal buildings due to Fox News running videos from several years prior as if they were happening at that moment? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he send them to a foreign prison where they were beaten, tortured, etc.? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 did in one year he authorize immigration agents to wear masks and refuse to identify themselves? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he call people protesting his actions (and there were protests) domestic terroriits? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he have federal agents begin deportation proceedings against people who signed an Op-Ed calling out genocide by Israel? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he reduce the number of Immigration Judges because they weren't approving deportations at a fast enough rate for his liking? How many times when Obama was deporting 407,000 people in one year did he refuse to apologize when the federal government killed US citizens who were not actively engaged in any illegal activity (and I remember when he authorized a drone strike against a US Citizen member of Al Qaeda in a forging country, so don't bring that apples to oranges comparison)? I could go on like this for dozens more examples. The fact that any one of these examples would have been beyond the pale in literally any prior (including Trumps first) administration but is now done without any pretense other than "might makes right" should be enough to shock the conscience of any American. And the fact that you can sit behind a keyboard and act like any of that is surprising makes me question your "genuine curiosity."
