The yen is still pretty weak against the dollar. Not as great as before but still decent. Summer in Japan is pretty warm but you can deal with it. I'm actually taking my 16g to Korea and Japan this summer. Look for us
Language barrier has never been an issue for me ever. You can definitely go go to Japan. I go every few years and I have zero problems. As far as giving your kids a really different experience; Asia in general is so different and there is no country like Japan. If you chose Japan definitely do the Japan 3 step. Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo. And as far as being American and being embararssed. Don't believe what you read in the media or on social media. SOME people might be pretty negative towards the American government but 99% of the people I meet when I tell them I'm American and Texan can't wait to talk to me. Most decent people can differentiate the government and the people and in a lot of places they actually like Trump. And Americans aren't even in the top 5 as far as "worst tourists".
Sure we can but she asked me not to. My daughter and I have certain things that are ours too. It's not a big deal. I actually liked Tulum more than Isla TBH but I also like places like Koh Rong in Cambodia too. Anyway flights purchased so feel free to kill this.
That was definitely an option but that my ex-wife's aka baby momma's favorite place and she asked me to let her take her there. So Tulum it is. In turn she mentioned taking our daughter to Asia this year and I put the kabosh on that one. That's my spot.
Anyone been to Tulum lately? I promised my daughter a nice beach trip for making the Honduras national team in soccer. We only have 3 nights so I am thinking Cancun or Tulum. Flights are about the same but I hear tourism is down bad so hotels look really reasonable. Can anyone make a case for not going to Tulum? And I was looking to stay on the beach but so much cheaper closer to town and we can just find a beach club for 4 hours each day if we want beach time.
He suggested Quepos Fish Adventures to me in the past. I've fished with them 4 times now. They are originally from the Houston area. Super nice and I've always had great captains and hands on board
I was there less than two weeks ago. Arrived with snow and ice all over the ground. On the 5 block walk from the bus to my hotel carrying my backpack I slipped and ended up on the ground. Luckily it was largely melted by the end of the next day. Hit the Van Gogh again (hadn't been in 5 years) and then the holidy canal light festival which was cool. I did get food poisinging from eating seafood at a very nice well reveiwed and popular restaurant. I assume it was the mussels or clams or some type of crustation that got me. My travel to Antwerp and the rest of that day was spent in misery but some meds from pharmacy got me rolling again.
Damn. I had a meeting then ran home to watch and bam 2-0! Happy for all the supporters who I met in London over the wknd getting to see a good match so far
In London now. Heeded uo to a supporters reception at the stadium. I'll get some pics. In other football related news my daughter was called up by the Honduras Women's National team and will be playing in a U17 World cup qualifier tournament next weekend in Aruba. If anyone happens to be in Aruba come watch a match
Hello from Ghent. About to make my way to Brussels to catch a train to London for the match tomorrow. Maybe this transfer gets the team moving in the right direction and I get to taste victory at WHL 2.0
