  1. Pod Save America touched on this recently. They suggested that Congress should vote to give her immunity in order to testify before Congress. Takes the power away from Trump pardoning her to compel testifying, she could still be prosecuted if she lies before Congress as well as be held in contempt if she refused to testify. Key details regarding congressional immunity: Procedure: A congressional committee must vote (usually requiring a two-thirds majority) to request an order from a federal judge to grant immunity. Scope: Immunity generally protects the witness from prosecution based on their testimony, but it does not protect them from prosecution for perjury or giving false statements. Purpose: It is used to compel testimony from witnesses in investigations, such as those conducted by committees in the 1950s and the 1980s Iran-Contra hearings. Limitations: While Congress can initiate the process, it requires judicial involvement, and it is rarely granted in modern times. This immunity can cover both federal and state prosecutions.

  8. Is MLK Day still a Federal holiday under this regime?
  9. No one in the GOP is telling Trump that invading Greenland will lead to impeachment. If anything, they are encouraging him to do it, to gain further favor with the regime.
  10. He is so bad that it is good. He can't effectively lie, he is damaging the message the administration is trying to make/argue. Put him in front of the cameras every day.

Has anyone actually read the fine print to FIFA's peace prize? Knowing FIFA, I have a strange feeling it actually calls for this shit to take place.

  15. Maybe so he doesn’t have to go before Congress to get "approval" for armed conflict. I know, I know, this regime doesn’t believe they need permission for any action. That said, the American public has no desire for this conflict.
  16. I know @Helobious is famous for batting below the "Mendoza Line" for takes, but this has got to be a bit....."Guardian caps in football, pronoun obsession, the extra first base bag in baseball, etc. are examples of woke things."
