There maybe some. However he has done more than TCU football than anyone could have imagined. After being here so long, he was getting burned out and complacent with his assistants. Sounds like someone you had not long ago. I think it's just human nature that when in the same job for this many years, this can happen. However, if you are making $6 million a year, your employer expects more. I hope he does you all a great job except in one game a year.

  15. LA/Beverly Hills/Bel Air > any place in Oklahoma > any place in Louisiana
  16. Brilliant move by Riley to fake going to LSU and end of at USC without a soul knowing.
  17. I don't think I have ever seen so many high profile jobs open up in up in the same year. It's a good time to be a head coaching candidate.
  18. As for hiring college coaches unless you can snag Saban it's all a crap shoot.
  19. Louisiana has never been a well run state.
  20. As successful Oklahoma has been in football the past 20+ years, how can they be so in debt? I thought they had a state full of boosters and money men.
  21. The Dallas Cowboys certainly have been good at it.
  22. I expect he and the school to negotiate an amount less than that unless he wants to work at the school in another capacity.
  23. Being a fired head coach is lucrative work.
  24. Cumbie is at Texas Tech. Sonny wants the TCU job. Unless someone better is available, he will most likely be the one.
