Who here is afraid of heights?
Montrose used to scare me a bit, but I’ve always felt comfortable in the Heights.

Carlos Santana collapses on stage tonight. This doesn't look good.
I first saw Santana live in 1975. That’s 47 freaking years ago. 🤯

Cheese Enchiladas
If I requested an order of nachos and was presented with that plate I'd be like "WTF?" But if my combo plate came with two nachos and I was presented with those bad boys, I'd be pretty cool with it. Context matters.

...and probably his last. There's not a manager in either league who sees that on SportsCenter this morning and doesn't think "Well THAT was dumb. I ain't doing that!".

What have you done with all of your old CD's?

What have you done with all of your old CD's?
I had over 800 once upon a time. Ripped them all to mp3 and about fifteen years ago took some 400 of them to a big house party and let everyone pick thru them. Some dude from Australia took the last ten or fifteen at the end of the night. BUT that was fifteen years ago. I still have maybe sixty or seventy. AND I have an original 30gb iPod similar to the one above and use it every day when my dog and I do our mile walk. I haven't listened to a CD in years tho.

- Bye bye Luby's
Hit the Luby's out Westheimer a couple of days ago. Based entirely on the comments above, I eschewed my usual square fish for the chicken fried steak with cream gravy, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, pinto beans and roll with butter. It was not only by far the worst meal I've ever had at Luby's, it was one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. Dry, flavorless, over battered, cold, it was inedible. The pintos were pretty good, the rest straight garbage. I have fond memories of Luby's, but its just not good anymore.- Japanese/Sushi
I don’t know what you consider cheap, but Izakaya Wa has great non-raw fish options. It’s on Memorial a block east of the West Belt. Kind of off the street. Siri will help you find it.- Texas BBQ

Think of it as a sincere and respectful "homage". I assure we we all do. 🤘- Crawfish
C’mon. Your complaint wasn’t size but difficulty in peeling. They’re easier to peel earlier in the season. You don’t have to believe me, all same same to me.- Crawfish
Uhmmmm. I’m no marine biologist, but I’ve eaten a few bugs over the last fifty years. By May, they’ve pretty much quit molting so the shells just get thicker and thicker. They’re easier to peel earlier in the season, so you’re waiting out the good times. (Edited to Add: I like BB’s fine. Bayou City has been our favorites the last few years, but I haven’t had any this year at all.) - Bye bye Luby's
