  1. That's it. I've had it. I'm going to make a separate road trip out of it. Sorry boys. Next man up.

Krys Boyd is a Texas gem. The author of the book will be on her NPR show ‘Think’ today at noon.

And then something something started trying to collect taxes again.
  5. Practical experience shows that nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics. It works when other activities fail.

The author stated on a podcast that the Disney movie was a passion piece for John Wayne in order to battle against the Commie leftist and to throw his support behind Nixon. He thought a Kennedy election would destroy this country. It's weird how 60 years later we are having the exact same conversations and strife. The movie is the single greatest propellant of the myths, and was soon later buoyed by an infatuation so strong that it caused LBJ to make up an ancestor. The most striking thing that I took away from the conversation, other than the slavery thing, was that there were only 4,000 persons in the whole area of Texas in the 18-teens before settlement. 15 years later we would have a country.

So what are y'alls thoughts on the new book? I don't read.
  9. He’s going bald. There is a fair and just God.
  10. Thanks @shadow_operative2.0, obviously was kidding about the spoilers.
  11. I don't know why Nate didn't pounce on him, had him dead to rights. Seemed like he gave him forever to recover. Hate Moreno's voice, but great story. I need to go back and rewatch. I'm surprised. Fuck that last fight, for all of the animosity it was a dud. Israel could have chosen to stick his neck out there for a finish but didn't. He's still one of my favorite fighters. But his antics and personality grow harder to take after 3 boring fights. That first fight still has the nightmares.
  12. Hey guys, Nate's looked like shit, but has him wobbled in the 5th!
  13. He likes dark skinned call girls. I heard it on a youtube podcast. NTTAWWT
  14. I'm pausing, waiting on a friend. No spoilers guys.

  20. This one is worth buying. Jinx
  21. What the LawCat above me said. Try quitting for 3 - 6 months. 6 months is when they say that some of the pathways in your brain start evening out. If you make it and you want to go back in, fine go back in. We here really don't want you to be one of us. Or, if you find that your life just keeps getting better, then just keep riding that wave all the way to golden shores. This, but I also feel it's about mind bogglingly ending back up in the same exact place of pain and consequences, a lack of control and needing to quit.
  22. Is this CTCJ?
