  1. Holy shit I was at this show! The Empty Glass, right? A friend and I road-tripped with the band on this tour from Lexington, KY, to Kent, OH, then Charleston. I absolutely loved that lineup and have some great pictures from those shows.
  2. I was at this show. Had tickets in the pit and Faith No More was absolutely crazy. We caught our breath after their set only to be destroyed again by Metallica. I had seen them once before (at the ERC) and was a much bigger fan of theirs than I was of GnR. We knew Axl was doing his prima donna bullshit where he was delaying their start time, etc, and we had a long drive home after the show so we decided that Guns wasn't going to be as good as Metallica and we left. To date I've never seen GnR live. I've never been a huge fan but while I loved FNM and Metallica I do regret leaving that show before their set.
  3. Freshman year of high school. We drove 3 hrs to see Rush at the Erwin Center on the Hold Your Fire tour (early 1988 I believe). Tommy Shaw opened. We had terrible mezzanine seats way up high and I couldn't see Neil Pearl's kit due to the speakers hanging from the rigging. I remember nodding off near the end of the set but ended up a lifelong fan of that band. Edit: added year
  4. I'll take a turn on the Honeywell gangbang train. We have 2 stats and the Android app is easy to use.
  5. Yes! This should go splendidly for me.
  6. We'll I, for one, welcome our tiny segmented alien overlords.
  7. Wife found this on her bike helmet in the garage. Should I burn the house down?
  8. She said she has to make sure the grapes taste good before she buys them. I asked her if it was ok to open up a new box of cereal she'd never tasted to try before she bought it but she didn't like that question.
  9. Wife eats grapes before buying while shopping at the grocery store.
  10. Something my 5 y.o. drew. It's some evil-genius-type flipping a switch on a "control board" (cropped out) and laughing maniacally. I thought it fits for this board.
  11. Only one solution: next time she undercuts you, bite the wife.
  12. Enjoyed the hell out of that. Thanks, Blacklab!
  13. This is riveting radio.
  14. Does this site do polls? My vote is the OK/dick shirt.
  15. 5-y.o. son told me today "in Madagascar there are plants that have leaves that are 25 feet long! That's like two school buses!" Twenty-five feet is two buses? Umm...is my kid on the short bus?
  16. This is hard to argue with. Plus keeping a clean search history is convenient.
