Had a reservation for tonight at Vespaio. I had never been before and it was a solid meal. Had the burrata, Cacio e Pepe and the lasagna. We overheard the waiter next to us tell the couple that the owner sold the building for 17 million. Nice little payday.
  2. I had to sell most of my tickets last year game by game on seat geek. I never got any backlash from the ticket office about it.
  3. When you said splurge, I didn’t know you meant a $23 bag of chips! But by the time I got to the 99 ranch, I was already all in. Damn tasty though!
  4. I appreciate that info! My dad actually bought it at a yard sale about 10 years ago and I want to say he paid about $2,000 for it. Never used it. So that $1,000-$1,500 range probably sounds about right.
  5. My dad has a Pitts and Spitts ultimate upright smoker. Maybe 15 years old and has been kept under a shed, not used much. He bought it used. It’s this one https://pittsandspitts.com/product/ultimate-upright-smoker-pit/ Will have to measure the size. Any idea how much I should ask for it? Not really finding anything online.
  6. We do like the van and have not had any issues with it up until now. We got the 2500 sprinter. I think it is around 20 feet in length. We purchased it in 2021 brand new from Georgetown Mercedes and then had it converted for camping. The fan for the a/c is making a little noise and of course it went out of warranty in August. We are having difficulty finding a local shop to service sprinter vans. Shops that service Mercedes, won’t work on the van. Dave’s ultimate automotive said they service them, but I don’t know if they are any good or not. Might need to check some local (Austin) sprinter forums too.
  7. Does anyone know of a repair shop that works on Mercedes sprinter vans in the Austin area? Trying to avoid taking it to the dealership as it is just out of warranty.
  8. From the Westlake Hills taking down some Christmas lights while trying to do a little work before 6:30 tonight. TEXAS!!!
  9. Ah yes, the pride of East Bernard. I think they were 2A back in my day.
  10. From a chilly Newark, DE. Spending Thanksgiving with the in-laws. FIGHT!
  11. My girlfriend and I took her 9 and 10 year old sons with us for two weeks back in July. They love Pokémon and had the time of their lives in Tokyo, especially Akihabara.
