  1. Quick 4 man limit this morning. Still not seeing any mallards but the gadwalls are keeping us busy.
  2. Throw up a recipe, that sounds good. Always looking for an Instant Pot recipe for venison.
  3. I'm more concerned about recovering the arrow.
  4. We are talking about a pig. I'll put in the effort to try and find him but I'm not staying out all night trying to find him. If it was a buck, yep 100% search would be on and tracking dog if necessary.
  5. Didn't see anything tonight until 5 minutes before I was going to get out of a stand when I see a dark spot making it's way to the feeder. He knew something wasn't right as he would stop and have his nose up in the air. He finally made it to 20 yards and I let an arrow fly. It was already pretty dark, but I heard a good thump and it takes off into the brush. I hear him running around but no big crash but I think I know the area he may be in. First thought was, Damn It...there goes a good arrow along with, I don't have a good flashlight with me. I'm back up at camp, going to eat something and then go back to the bottoms up see if I can recover him.
  6. 2 things I hate when up in a tree stand. 1. Little birds in the brush moving around making it sound like a deer is coming down a trail. 2. Dropping my rattling horns....
  7. You rang?????
  8. Deer groceries.....
  9. I have my church save me some every Sunday. It's not a bunch but they go through 3-4 batches, so enough to throw into the compost to help.
  10. Nice new buck showed up on camera this morning.....while I was at work. Hope he chills and stays around for a few more days till I can get down there again.
  11. Turkey spread of smoked Turkey breast and fried Turkey.
  12. Butterflied duck breast, pounded out to tenderize and marinated in allegro. Then spread cream cheese and banana peppers, rolled up with bacon wrapped. Grilled till bacon was done. The 2 teal I just made them into duck nugget wraps.
  13. I need to stop eating as much as I'm killing.
  14. Got a couple of turkey breasts on the smoker. Will be frying up a turkey later.
  15. Best double check that as we had the entire loan forgiven using the 75%. Also, you can stretch that forgiveness period out to more than the original 8 weeks to help "use up" more of the loan.
  16. Slow morning but got it done. Hoping this cool front brings in some new birds to hunt after Thanksgiving.
  17. I stern talk with the neighbor would be first then if it happens again, record it and call the local game warden. 1. Hunter Harrassment 2. Wildlife Harrassment
  18. Those are some pretty good size bucks to just up and die.
  19. Quick 4 man limit before work this morning.
  20. You'll be fine doing it that way.
  21. Both Tacos replied to C-Man's topic in Dallas
So does Dickey's. I rarely go with public reviews.

In St. Louis, their ribs and pulled pork are good but the brisket doesn't live up to the traditional Texas style.
  23. Looks like he is about to buy a round of drinks for the ladies.
  24. Thanks. Here's a few other views of the plot from this morning.
