  1. Clinicals at small nursing schools are no joke. Keep in mind that they will rotate to different types of facilities to cover different disciplines (eg a retirement home for geriatrics). As a result, one may have to travel far to get to them, regardless of how good or bad they are. Just be sure to ask who they have affiliations with and where they are located. Also keep the geo/weather in mind and having to drive an hour back to campus in the snow after a long shift. Best of luck.
  2. You have ABC live tv? Mine says on demand only.
  3. I did a fubo trial, it was decently comparable to YTTV. However, I too thought the rewind and fast forward was not intuitive, especially since there is no window to see where you are skipping to. It would also put me in a random spot when I would try to skip ahead while a recording was in progress. The picture quality was a little worse imo. I saw more blocking at the beginning of playback. The thing that pissed me off was their nicely hidden $15 local sports tax. I will buy a sling tv day pass - it’s like $5 plus tax.
  4. lol, this place is slipping. Can’t believe the poors comment took this long. I may try a wireless adapter. We have native CarPlay wireless in one of the cars but it’s glitchy and sound quality is meh.
  5. I got a trial. UI is pretty similar. It doesn’t ff and rwd as smoothly though. The picture quality was not as good. There was more blocking, especially at the beginning of a steam.
  6. On the flip side, I got an adapter for her car (usb c to lightning) so I can use CarPlay there. That works. I just haven’t found a lighting to usb c that works.
  7. My iPhone uses lightning. The Mrs got an iPhone 17 that uses USB C so I'm looking for a CarPlay compatible adapter for the rare times she drives my car. My car has USB 2.0 in case that matters. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
  8. Is the picture quality better for sports on fubo than youtubetv? I have google fiber and sports on YouTube can really look blocky. With this Disney negotiations bs, I may switch.
  9. Just seemed unnecessary... KC was going to draft OL at 31. Campbell would have been there at 32 for Phillie.
  10. KC wasn’t going to take him though.
  11. why they trade up one spot?
  12. I totally missed this so a bit late. A sincere congratulations to you, Mac. Way to persevere through, it’s been a real crappy market. Your girls are super blessed to have a father like you. Cheers!
  13. I went Ryobi because of all the 18v tools avail. They’ve been reliable. I’d recommend them for homeowners but probably not for pros.
  14. My 5 yo Toro line trimmer starts first pull every time and runs like a champ.
  15. Well I’ll be…. The Baking soda removed most of the black burnt crust on the bottom of our Le Cruset.
  16. Wow this thread popped out some serious CR. Back on point… yes I am LTC and used to carry every time I left the house. Lazily, I do it more-so based on probability and impact (who is with me) as of late. At all times I do carry something - a knife, pepper spray, or a my EDC CC. If I’m going to be in an area statistically higher likelihood for something bad (eg downtown), I will carry and take pepper spray. If I have reason to believe PS will be enough, I’d rather use that. If Im going jogging or walking, I will carry pepper spray, mostly for dogs. For all the gun haters here, just know that’s it’s a fucking pain to carry. It’s uncomfortable, you have to pay attention to the laws (where you can’t carry or posses) and be cognizant of where you may end up and if there is a chance alcohol my be involved, etc. Then you are also putting your ass on the line, if you do have to shoot someone. You will have serious legal problems even if your 100% in the right. You could also be mistaken for an aggressor and get your ass shot as well. In addition to the expenses of ammo, range time to stay proficient, you spend $200-$300 in carry insurance. At the end of the day, seconds matter and cops are always minutes away. Police response has gotten worse on top of that. It’s a burden to carry but I will defend human life if necessary, ironically even those who are anti gun.
  17. This, stretch your calves and to a lesser extent your hammies. If you have flat feet or high arches consider getting orthotics or special inserts like Super Feet. If you’re not sure if you’re flat footed , a litmus test is your Achilles. While standing barefooted, it should be straight and not deviated to either side. I fought it for years and it ended up being my calves that drove the PF.
  18. I just hope they get their “ganas” back and got the stumpy play out of their system. The last few weeks seem like they’re ready for the offseason.
  19. A friend of mine has Samaritan Miniatures. He’s self employed, has a large family, and found it was much cheaper than private/market place. You do have to get your pastor to sign something attesting you are an active member of their church.
  20. RIP, Coach. Thanks for the memories and the laughs. You certainly made being in the BigXII more enjoyable. CJK5H
  21. Yeah I tried the paper filter…, never been a fan of the mesh.
  22. I got that Cusinart carafe coffee maker and couldn’t get a full flavor brew like my old ass Mr Coffee. The only thing I could think of was that the cone doesn’t give it enough time to soak. Does basket shape matter come VS flat? Given this is $150 maybe I got a defective one? I’m not opposed to the price of the Mocca Master but the lack of an auto brew feature would suck. What else?
  23. Don’t know if they do what you have in mind but we’ve used Patriot Fence for privacy fences twice and we’re hood both times
