  1. His career has been wild to watch. At first he was just a run of the mill college football writer, then he realized he could get more clicks by being a PROVOCATIVE one, so he spent all of his time trying to rile up controversy and would generally choose non-SEC targets like Texas. I remember one summer it seemed like he had a new pro-aggy, anti-Texas article every single week. This constant chase for clicks eventually evolved into introducing politics into his sports coverage (WARNING: JOSH PATE) and now he's a full fledged Fox News white supremacist.
  2. I think this analysis leaves out an important third variable: the Republican voters who stay home because they do not believe it would be the end of the world if the opponent wins. THAT is Talarico's true strength. It's not necessarily about converting voters, it's about allowing them to feel comfortable enough to stay home.
  3. Ironically, he could also go into a fit of rage and execute the justices that voted against him and could formulate a legitimate argument that the Court told him he could legally do that.
  4. It really is surreal that “the President literally cannot stay awake during meetings” is not a bigger story, especially given how the previous presidency was covered.
  5. I like Jasmine Crockett, but she has not run nearly a good enough campaign to overcome the racial biases that are present. And if we are being honest, as an observer, it seems like "outspoken black woman" is basically the final boss of racism. Many people who were moved to vote for a generationally articulate black man would likely still find issue with a candidate like Crockett.
  6. Yeah let’s get this guy back on the campaign trail ASAP.
  7. Can you elaborate here? Other than their political party, I see very little in common with the two men.
  8. Would be Dearborn 2.0: when being right on the internet is more important than actually voting for the things that you claim to care about.
  9. I guess those who argued that a primary would result in the best option rising to the top were correct. It’s now clear how extremely unready she is for prime time.
  10. For one, he is not a black woman trying to win an election in Texas.
  11. Really stretching the definition of “longtime.”
  12. The game is lost if Talarico doesn’t win. Focusing on anything else at this point seems like we are putting the cart before the horse.
  13. Unless the word “stand” is in front of it.
