I love the magnetic one. I’ve had this one a couple of years. It sticks to a dash panel with a 3m type sticky. It’s secure and easy to put on and off one handed.

My kids, 10 and 13, both use an Osprey Talon 44 pack. I have an Osprey Atmos 65. It's not light but it's comfy. It's the Cadillac of the trail on our adventures.
I tried a hammock but I'm a stomach sleeper and just couldn't get comfortable on my back or side. And if it's cold enough for quilting baffles underneath, heavier duty straps, a fly, a bug net, etc... you've exceeded the weight of a bivy or even a small two-man backpacking tent. My sons love their hammocks but I know I sleep better than they do and carry the same weight.
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't give a shit who kneels, who's mad about it, who met about it, or what anyone thinks about it. We are a country who loves to be divided. If it wasn't this bullshit it would be another meeting about some other bullshit.
Thanks Staboner. My near vision is what's bad. I can go around all day without glasses or contacts until I need to read something. Getting lasik and then needing to keep using readers in a few years seems like I'm not getting much out of it. Mitchell Wong, father of the other Wongs, operated on my eyes when I was 2 years old and was my eye doctor for all of my childhood. I tried to keep using them as an adult but they didn't accept my vision plan. Now that I'm in a different job with a different plan I should go back to Shawn or Shannon and get more info about this.
My current eye doctor tells me I'm not a good candidate for lasik, but then again she doesn't perform it and it's in her best interest to keep me coming to her for contacts every year. I'd trust any doctor in the Wong family tree more.
Price? Was your eyesight deteriorating consistently prior to the procedure? Did Dr. Wong give you a guess how long it would take them to deteriorate back to where they were or at least back until you need readers? That’s what’s stopping me. I wear contacts and it doesn’t really bother me to wear them and deal with them. But I don’t want to pay all that cash only to have to do it again in a few years or to keep needing readers again soon.
I’m almost certain nobody at the school told those kids to walk out. They’re not prisons. Any middle school child can physically get up and leave a school anytime they want to.
It’s good to see that studied and written about. I’ve often said we are living in the safest time in history. A smartphone in every pocket with instant notification of “breaking news!!” 17 times a day can easily lead everyone to believe otherwise.
It’s the same with other social issues too. Racism, gender bias, prejudices on sexuality, and all the other social issues being battled over are all pretty much at an all-time low. That’s not to say there isn’t still more work to be done and improvements to be made, nor should we stop trying, but there has never been a better time to be alive on this earth. Life is good and getting better every year.
Fuck mattress stores. I’m posting this while laying on my $187 memory foam queen mattress from Amazon. It’s been years since I woke up feeling this good everyday.
