I thought I had explained this adequately above, but apparently not. Games can be close for different reasons, some being more salient than others when attempting to learn how each team may perform in the future. In the ways which are most salient to that endeavor, the game was not particularly close.
I can buy Texas having around a top 10-15 offense, but their defense still looks to be a mediocre 40-60th quality unit. Maybe it will all come together next season.
There are games where one team racks up more yardage at a more consistent clip than a second team but yet loses because of turnovers and/or failure to convert on a key few plays. What lesson would you draw from that game? That the second team is likely to perform better than the first moving forward?
Another way of putting it is that LSU had an 88% win probability on the road against Texas in a game where they absolutely humiliated the Texas defense to the tune of averaging nearly 9 YPP, significantly outperforming their offensive efficiency from week 1 against some piece of shit also-ran school.
Honestly, 24th feels about right to me. Does anyone really think Texas is currently much better or worse than that? It's possible of course, but all available evidence seems to indicate otherwise.
How would Trump respond to Bernie's response to Biden that the US is paying far more for less healthcare? Would it be less idiotic than Biden's response?
You think he's lying about being autistic, or do you think it's okay to make fun of autistic people for acting weird?

You think most people would rather keep paying their premiums in lieu of having their taxes increased even if their premium is greater than the increase to their taxes? I don't think most people are that stupid.
What kind of sick fuck, following their graduation from Harvard, joins the armed forces to go help murder people in Afghanistan so that they may build up their resume?
This is why it's laughable when idiots try to defend Orlando by claiming that he has a "bend but don't break" defense and that's why many teams find it so easy to move the ball on Texas. No, he emphasizes creating negative plays and the reason why teams move the ball so well on Texas is because Texas' defense was bad last season and doesn't appear to be much (if at all) improved this season.
