Not sure I’ve ever seen a fan base more scared then they were when there was a chance that they were going to play Texas in the Texas Bowl game. They were all over the message boards scared shitless. SEC made a last minute switch to put them in the Memphis Bowl game and they took to the internet claiming that Texas told the Texas bowl they couldn’t let A&M play in that game. Even Luicci claimed A&M wasn’t going to be allowed to play that game. There is not a more delusional fan base out there.
If I had a dollar every time ESPN talked about A&M as if they were a new startup program ready to take over college football, I'd be ready to retire. They use the same narrative every 10 years or so.
How are they going to continue to work him during a dead period? Also does the Athletic signing up with Texags mean they are going after the elusive National Inquirer market?
I’ll never understand why Looch decides to personally attack Texas coaches. He did it with Brown, Strong, and now he’s doing it with Herman. No one else in the business does that.
That’s quite the response from Looch. Get beat for a recruit and then try to make the narrative about the others fan base. The aggys preach about how great their fan base is, yet they are some of the most hateful and evil people you’ll meet in your life. The only time they are respectful and nice is when you are just like them.
If someone is going to ask them that question, can you also ask them why Vonn Miller, Dat Nguyen, and the Bennett brothers were afraid to play in the SEC. They all took the easy way out and played in the Big 12.
