Gonna say it again. The economy is ground in people buying shit. You eliminate too many jobs without some backstop (that nobody is thinking about) and not enough people will be able to buy the GI Joe with the Kung Fu grip that your AI robot designed and made. You won’t be able to pay the AI company who sold you the tools to eliminate jobs and you will eventually not make enough revenue to stay a going business. The AI companies selling you AI shit will eventually have enough non paying customers that they too will begin to fail. Unemployment at 10% is a problem, 20% is a fucking disaster and much more that and shit starts coming completely apart.
True That. But man if that happens, particularly while in office I hope everyone is prepared for the biggest blizzard of ALL TIME. Just 5 short months ago people dared to not so much as celebrate but point out that MAYBE Charlie Kirk didn’t deserve the deification he was getting in certain circles and that while his murder was unwarranted that he said and stood for a lot of shit that was repugnant to them. There was a lot of bitching and moaning Take true celebration and that crew of snowflakes and we’re talking lake effect white out conditions.
I mean, racists gonna racist, sure, but what in the holy fuck is going on with the guy on the aisle seat? Short sleeve light shirt, light khaki shorts (don't appear to be cargo shorts, so he has that going for him, which is nice), and then BLACK AND GRAY striped over the calf socks. I guess he is trying to match the sneakers but duuuuuuuuude
I'm betting that a pretty good percentage of them were actually high school dorks who have sadistic streaks in them and this is them lashing out over their childhood pain. Miller and CouchFucker definitely got shoved in some lockers back in their day.
The pro for UTSA is it gives you pretty easy access to the UT scene….just a 90 minute drive away. My son has spent a number of weekends up in Austin for various things (football stuff, rush stuff, CAP friend stuff, etc). That of course only matters if it matters to your kiddo.
Fair…nothing is guaranteed so if that is what a kid needs so be it. Frankly I’ve looked at CVs of big time leaders across a lot of different industries and I find a lot more “economics” at the undergrad level than I do any particular business degree (admittedly often coupled with an MBA or JD or something like that). It’s definitely a matter of what a kid is most comfortable with.
And yes to an earlier comment. If you end up doing CAP at UTSA you take 6,9,15 with the first 6 online starting 7/1 (my son started college last summer while we were in Italy). Most of the other options are more traditional 15/15.
Anecdotally the second part of this regarding McCombs isn’t really accurate. Now does it work for everybody…no, but it happens more than you might think (signed parent who has kid in CAP at UTSA now and he has talked to plenty of folks about the paths through CAP, both advisor and current UT/former CAP students)
