The Righteous Gemstones (HBO)
You lost me. This just makes no sense to me. I don't understand making this distinction, unless you're talking about unintentional comedy. Like Tommy Wiseau and The Room . Ricky Gervais is a brilliant comedic mind and is 100% responsible for David Brent being funny to us.

UT's next basketball coach - discussion/debate [Sean Miller Hired]
Paying 18m and stealing a P1 coach who currently has his program humming at a championship caliber level vs "stealing" a midmajor coach with buyout 1/36th the size. Entertaining Oats is a waste of time and bandwith IMO so it would be exponentially more shocking to me.

I'm talking about a place called Asssspennn.
A tad?! A TAD, LLOYD?!

Finally: Wheel of Time being made by Amazon and Sony
Amazon and "finally" probably don't belong in the same sentence anymore. Can safely be replaced with "tragically."

White Lotus - HBO
Same. I watched it kinda recently within the last two years. The Book of Nora - goddamn. That and Made in America are my two favorite series finales.

Severance (Apple TV)
That did feel a little too much like The Bear Season 2 meandering sidestory wankery. I hate to say this because I loved season one, but the season has lost me a bit. I'm still enjoying it, mostly for its cinematic qualities. It's leaned so far into the weird and whimsical and mystery that I've stopped caring about the main characters and what happens to them. Feels like the show is prioritizing supporting the Reddit/Youtube fan theory ecosystem. I know a portion of the fanbase is really into that stuff, but eh...if I don't care about the people it's hard to care about obscure references to Montak and secret symbols and stuff.

The Righteous Gemstones (HBO)
That ruled.

White Lotus - HBO
Oh right. It was a pretty hard double take. More like a triple take.

White Lotus - HBO
I learned that on this thread. Someone embedded an IG post and I did a double take when I saw she had 1.5m followers.

Would RT keep his job if the following happened
He would, yes. But we'll lose to Vandy by double digits.
