The year before that movie was shot, Arizona went 10-2, tied for the conference title, and the Desert Swarm defense was a thing. Things were never better for Wildcat football. That was the glory year.
Howard spending two months last fall railing on JD’s spending habits (which seemed pretty modest) leads me to believe he pays JD $100K at most. I also thought that ongoing bit really highlighted how detached Howard is from reality to think people would enjoy listening to an insanely wealthy person dressing down an average person for having the nerve to take his family to a baseball game. Robin piling on was cringe worthy.
I had a townhome just outside of downtown Houston during Ike, we were without power for about 4 days. My parents in NE Harris County were out about 20 days. Pretty miserable experience all around. I’m in Atascocita these days, prepping for the worst, hoping for the best.
I’ve worked in downtown for almost 15 years now and have been to my office exactly once since mid March. The tunnel eateries and Park Shops food court has to have been wiped out by now, right? Sad, but most of those places were already struggling before Covid.
After 25 years of deliberation, Black has settled firmly into my personal top 5 and arguable number 1. Corduroy makes a strong argument, though.
