  1. You'd be crazy to drive it in the Texas summertime! Fortunately I don't have that issue, so I can enjoy the amazement in my kids as they experience a roll start, the solitude of a car without any alarms or beeps, and the constant smiles and shakas I get whenever I take Blue Steel out on the road. It's a great ride. It's also pretty cool how many conversations it starts -- usually along the lines of "I used to drive one of those" or "my uncle had one back in 1968" or whatever. People take pictures of it all the time, sometimes just the car and sometimes smiling and posing next to it. It just seems to brighten peoples' days to see it. Low tech still delivers.
  2. My car is on the right, still holding its own against new tech. Absolutely nothing digital in that car whatsoever. Glorious.
  3. No, that only happens at Texas.
  4. It actually doesn't suck that it is all about money. That is one of Texas’ superpowers. We want it all about money.
  5. "Video shows moment dam collapsed at newly renamed Dunlap River"
  6. I get all of the arguments about playing time, sitting, etc...but you have to be a real fucking idiot to turn down an offer from Texas to play running back.
  7. My guests and kids can evacuate like savages for all I care.
  8. For your master bath, Toto washlet w heated seat, heated water, and dryer. $400. It's the clubhouse leader for a reason, and will give you all of the comforts and niceties of the Japanese bidets. That was an immediate upgrade after our trip to Japan last fall. For the other bathrooms, anything in the $75+ range will be fine. BTW Japan is amazing.
  9. the stag line was fantastic
  10. We were in Japan last fall. The bidet with the multiple spray options, warm seat, and warm water was the one thing we made sure we implemented when we got back home. Life changer.
  11. Joe King Carrasco and Legs Diamond. Boy those take me back.
  12. In Norman that's called "landscaping."
  13. Weird. Seems like they had plenty of time to take a machete and chop that cobra in two.
  14. 3 metal shows in 5 nights. Two with my son who is a senior in high school and opted to take me to Insomnium instead of going to senior prom. Then he sang in the mic and held up one of the singers of Angelmaker on the barricade while the guy sang a song over the crowd. Such a cool kid. Amon Amarth's first show at Red Rocks was totally killer too. That's a must-visit venue for anyone that hasn't been. They projected their logo on either side of the rocks surrounding the amphitheater. Friday: Wilderun, Omnium Gathurum, Insomnium Monday: Frozen Soul, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth Tuesday: Snuffed on Sight, Signs of the Swarm, Angelmaker, Thy Art is Murder
  15. COURT CANCELLED TODAY! Rigged judge finally decides to do the Right thing and cancel this mockery of justice. No one at the Courtroom today because They Know they have been found out as the crooked sheep they are. EXONERATED!
  16. Dear God I love this place
  17. That last page delivered big time
  18. We have a deep QB room
  19. Shocking that I can't trust the 9.95ers, not that Bledsoe isn't in the 2-deep.
