A government that prosecutes political enemies is often described as an
authoritarian state or a dictatorship, where the justice system is weaponized to suppress dissent, rather than uphold the rule of law. In such a system, law enforcement and judicial powers are used for political retaliation and to eliminate political competition. This is in contrast to a democracy, where prosecutions should be based on evidence and non-partisan policies, not political motives.
What? I mean, literally, what? He want the DOJ to just pay him a random sum? wtf is going on here?

He just sounds like he's being forthright to me. Honestly, I don't care if this guy gets elected or not. I'm more just reacting to your insinuation that a job interviewee being honest and open is a bad thing. Perhaps it's because I'm currently interviewing for jobs at the moment, but I have always hated the idea that you have to not be yourself in an interview and should play the game to say what you think the employer is wanting to hear. Frankly, it's insulting to the intelligence of the employer.
I just watched the interview with Tommy Vietor. It seems clear this guy had some ignorant and terrible ideas when he was a young infantryman, shocker. But he seems to have had a lot of self-reflection and broadened his world view. I think people can change, so he gets the benefit of the doubt from me. Again, I don't live in Maine, so it doesn't fall to me to vote for him anyway.
Have you ever seen American History X? Seems like that could apply here.
First, great name.
Second,
these people really think they can just @ potus and it goes to him. They really believe this. In reality, they are screaming into the void. This blows my mind.
This. And it's the best our O line has looked and that was against the statistically best D in the nation. Fuck, I don't know man. Nobody knows because none of this shit makes any sense and we are in a god damn simulation.
I wonder if this will actually stick, no matter how long we go on. Or will people just move on from it like they’ve moved on from every other one of his heinous acts.
No. This is an abomination that has no place as part of one of the most historic buildings in the entire country. It should be destroyed and the White House restored to the original design. Even from a purely aesthetic perspective, this fucks up the symmetry and simplicity of the building. It’s architecturally incorrect.
