  1. As they say, if you can't get your grades up... Get Your Guns Up!!
  2. Ours is supposed to have this also and according the remote / app it keeps it at the target, but in practicality my side is not at the sleep number if it has been more than a couple of days since it was recailibrated. For instance when I look at the registered number it will show 75 (my sleep number). If I change to a new target (25 for example) and press enter it will instantly drop to about 40 or 45 and then slowly move all the way down to 25. I can then re-fill it to 75 and if I were to quickly change it back to 25 again it will take a much longer time to get down to that level (no instant 30 point drop). Frustrating but much better than the nightly complete deflation I was experiencing.
  3. My daughter did a grad nursing program at UTK during the tail end of Covid. She was deciding between Duke, GWU, UMASS and UTK. UTK was the only one who guaranteed that classes would be in person and clinicals would be in the hospital as opposed to on-line or in the "lab". As a result, her decision was pretty easy (definitely unique to that post-Covid era). Having said all that, she has loved Knoxville. Smokies are a short drive away. The campus is located right on the river with hiking, biking, etc. readily available. Climate is a bit cooler than Texas but not frozen tundra for weeks at a time. The comment upthread about it being the gorilla in the region is correct. The UTK degree will open doors in that region but may or may not translate to something comparable back in Texas immediately. She took a job at the University Medical Center in Knoxville and has met and married her (now) husband there. He was a local. My wife is a bit sad that our daughter's life will most likely be done in Tennessee instead of closer to home but ultimately we are happy she is in a spot she loves with someone who loves her. AA has multiple non-stops per day between DFW and Knox. Southwest is adding Knox as a destination and I think Allegient and Spirit both fly there if either of those work for you. UTK has been growing and I know some friends with kids who did undergrad there recently and freshman housing was an issue but nothing that can't be solved with $$ for close to campus apartments or private dorms.
  4. @Dbeasy its basically like 2 twin mattresses next to each other. We have a mattress topper that makes it seem smooth all the way across. Honestly unless we’re having the sexy time we don’t “sleep” in the middle. What’s the point of having a king sized bed if you have to be all up in each other’s business when it’s time to sleep? 🤣 We did think about there being a gap in the middle when we bought it, but it’s really never been an issue.
  5. We have had a sleep number full split king with fully adjustable base for 6-8 years. Overall we like it, but the air bladder on my side has always been wonky. I replaced it once, after having it about 2 or 3 years, because it suddenly started deflating during the night having this effect... I went through the diagnostics they suggest to see if a leak could be identified or if the pump was defective. No specific fault was identified but the deflation problem persisted. They sent me a replacement for a couple hundred $$. (They actually sent two new bladders). I replaced the one on my side and it is generally ok (definitely not completely deflating overnight) but I still have to refill it to my "sleep number" about once a week whereas my wife only reinflates hers every month or so. I would buy again, but I wish the "sleep number" pressure stayed more consistent.
  6. One of the committee members asked the victims in the room to stand up and then raise their hands if they still have NOT been able to meet with Bondi or her team. This photo showed the results.
  7. Reminds me of the South Korean leader randomly declaring "martial law" without explanation and then it was rescinded it 6 hours later
