  1. Got back from a 4 day Queretaro trip. Really enjoyed the city. Nice to walk around, has interesting museums and churches plus wineyards (and cheese) outside of town. Cool views of the original aquaducts at night. There are good restaurants but you have to work harder to find them compared to most towns in Mexico. It's not "magical" like San Luis Allende. Queretaro is a big city, so while parts are beautiful, other areas are blah. If you are close to San Antonio, Viva has nonstop flights to Queretaro on some days.
  2. In a previous episode, the locals said they told the settlers to not build in the woods and they did anyway. So all of the town of Derry is within the pillars.
  3. Just like many started watching Better Call Saul, expecting Jimmy to turn into Saul in the first season and were disappointed. Don't expect a quick wrap-up.
  4. If they are forbidden from killing directly but still want to eliminate the Earth's population, having everyone starve to death is a good workaround.
  5. Do you need 24/7 recordings? Almost every doorbell cam will store video snippets, triggered by movement, on the cloud. Very few cams will store 24/7.
  6. That's a sinkhole!?! We are again falling behind Asia in the sinkhole race. They are doing it faster, deeper and cheaper. The U.S is not investing enough in sinkhole infrastructure. The U.S cannot be competitive in the sinkhole economy until we stop partisan politics and focus on the important issues. Even Thailand is ahead of the U.S:
  7. Feels like the show runs out of steam in the last two episodes. Also, Clare Daines acting in this show is comprised of 50% shaking and 50% shocked face
  8. Movie is a lot of fun, as expected. Go see it
  9. Then you won't get another Predator movie until 2040, when they reboot it. Look what happened with Furiosa/Mad Max - it made some money but not enough. That's it for Mad Max movies. It's over.
  10. Looks badass. Getting great reviews. It's currently at 91% on Rotten Tomatoes If you have ever said "How come they don't make movies like (Predator/Aliens/Dredd/Gladiator/Edge of Tomorrow)", go see this movie. This movie needs to make money so that more awesome actions movies get made. Review quotes: "It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s packed with gnarly kills—and it truly wants you to feel every bone-crunching moment in your bones. This is the Predator theatrical experience we’ve been waiting for." "Rest assured, though: even with the softer rating, Badlands remains every bit as violent as the rest of the franchise."
  11. Still enjoying the strange mix of comedy and dread. There's so much that could be true in his conspiracy theory and so much that seems totally wrong.
  12. I checked recently on some out of the way pyramids and they were still prohibiting climbing.
  13. The new bus hub system for LASA sucks. You either live close by one of the new hubs or "too bad, good luck".
  14. That was a delightful 30 mins. Hoping it stays strong
