  2. Wife and I went to the Punk in the Park pre-show on Friday night Guttermouth. Lead singer looked like a youth sports coach before the show. IMG_5870.mov Suicidal Tendencies IMG_5882.mov
  3. Saw the Violent Femmes in SF on Wednesday. They played their 2nd album, took a break, and then played their first album.

  6. Just got home after seeing Asleep at the Wheel and Willie Nelson at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley. Willie sat the entire set, which is totally understandable considering he’s 90 and still touring. Ray Benson did double duty fronting his band and backing up Willie.
  7. I lucked into free GA tickets from Little Steven to the Springsteen show in San Francisco last night and it was an epic night for my wife, daughter, and me (our son missed out because he was away on a school trip). The show itself was incredible. It was our first Springsteen concert and I’m kicking myself for not attending one when I was younger. During the show, Little Steven gestured for me to give him the hat I was wearing. He and Bruce took turns wearing it for nearly an entire song. To make the night even crazier, Bruce handed my daughter his harmonica after playing it.
  8. @South Austin‘s mom has some holes that need filling. But that’s a different type of gambling.
  9. Saint Peter’s to beat Tennessee
  10. Great finale. I was looking for Hogan and his crew when the POWs arrived at Stalag 13.
  11. Saw G. Love and Special Sauce last week at The Independent in San Francisco. My wife and I were able to attend the pre-show all-request, acoustic set with G. Love (1st pic). There were supposed to be 50 people attending; however, only 10-12 showed up The actual show kicked ass. The opening act was Jakob’s Castle led by Jakob Nowell (the son of Bradley) who will be joining Sublime as a full-time member.
