On TV it was clear as day and I was very surprised it didn't get called right away. But it was a clear penalty. I guess you're mad that it wasn't called initially? They discussed the rule that allows officials to make that call after the fact on the broadcast.
Lol. Are you claiming MacKinnon didn't take a high stick to the face that bloodied his nose? Rules allow officials to review if it's for a double minor, just not for a 2 minute minor. That one was by the book.
Makar does not dive. It was a soft call, though (on the first trip, not the second one).
Makar is the guy that tells a ref that a trip was not a trip (actually happened). Marchment is the guy who has been fined by the league for embellishment.
He hit him in the collarbone area. Definitely not above the shoulders. But enjoy your moral victory, I guess?
I mean, you admitted he took a dive up in this thread.
I said Manson is up to the job of taking care of Marchment if it comes down to it. Probably won't happen, though.
I just added the Benn clip because I love that clip.
Yeah, Manson dropped Benn like a sack of potatoes a couple years ago. I'm sure he's up to the job. Bonus for Beau Vine that he gets his favorite announcers on this call.
Yeah, but the fact that he didn't fire his agent tells me he wasn't blindsided. He just pushed too far. You don't like Moser and Rycroft? Maybe watch the TNT broadcast.
That take on Mikko is lazy and dumb. Avs did not kick him out of town, they offered him 11.75 x 8 and he flat out said no. He signed a 12 x 8 with the Stars after he realized he was never getting the 14 x 8 he wanted. He and his agent thought the Avs were bluffing and they were wrong. Avs told him they would trade him if he didn't sign before the trade deadline. I an sure they would have given him the contract he signed in Dallas, but he wanted Drai money.
I'll definitely take that win. Nuggets played like ass for the first 1.75 quarters. Can't believe they pulled it out. Russ is going to be the death of me.
