We got here because of inflation caused by the pandemic. Incumbent governments across the developed world, whether right or left leaning, lost power in 2024. It was inflation, my guy.
But I guess keep patting yourself on the back or something? It will swing back when Trump actually follows through and does the shit he said he was gonna do all along because people don't pay attention.
Correct. We sit at the bottom of the valley, like the bottom of a big bowl. The really cold air just settles to the bottom. On really cold days, it's 15-20 degrees warmer up on the hillsides than down where we are.
Is Hatsuyuki still operating the same way? no reservations? Wanting to head over there on Friday. We will get there early, but I'm sure it will be busy. Is there still a place next door to get drinks while you wait?
Let's be clear - I did not go outside to take that picture. Took it through the kitchen window. Heat in the house couldn't keep up last night, though. We keep it at 68 inside and it was 63 when I got up. Had to light a fire to warm it up.
It hit -30* a couple weeks ago, but it's rare to get this cold. I'll bet it was -40* or colder as this was taken at 8 am. The coldest part of the day is right around 5 or 6 am.
It's all the way up to 0* now that the sun is out.
I don't know shit about Summit restaurants.
Your best bet for lift tickets would have been to buy an Epic (Breck/Keystone/Vail/BC) pass but they are not for sale anymore. Copper is Ikon. Maybe you can get some friends & family passes from someone with an Epic pass, although they are limited in how many you can get (and you have to find someone with an Epic pass first). It's gonna be expensive.

It's ridiculously cold up here right now. Currently is 0* at my house and overnight lows tonight are expected to be in the -20* to -25* range. Supposed to start warming back up to normal tomorrow.
And his contract is league average, too. That's the whole point. If he's average the contract is fine. And he's been much better than average this year.
Otter was mid last year and you guys gave him $66 million this offseason. Which goalie is overpaid again?
Blackwood has the 4th best save % in the league this season. And he had the same save % as Swayman and Oettinger for all of last season. I'm not just looking at his time with the Avs. He's a solid tender and definitely a step up for the Avs in net.
