I'm sure in 10 years we're going to see a Dateline interview with one of those recruits who had a sleepover with Harbaugh.- Jasmine Crockett (Texas Representative)
Republicans aren't dumb, and know that a black female Democrat ain't winning a statewide election anytime soon (i.e., our lifetimes), so from an objective standpoint this is a good strategy. I'm little worried that a significant number of Republicans will vote in the Democratic primary in an effort to get Crockett on the ballot for the November general election. On the one hand, they do have their own contested primary to consider. On the other hand, I wonder if they really don't care which dipshit MAGA wins that Senate seat, just as long as the Democrats have less of a chance with a weaker candidate. And I say this all as a fan of Crockett. But I know my state.- Sherrone Moore's Michigan Meltdown - Staffers, Breakups, Extortion, Cover-Ups, Firings, Knives, Assaults, Breakdowns, Arrests
Sucks for the recent signees. I mean, if the NCAA gave out extra COVID-based eligibility like candy, seems like they should allow Michigan's recent signees to get out of their letters of intent for this bullshit.- Shit HEB Makes (when its open).
I lived in Dallas from 1999 to 2003 and bigly missed HEB. Albertson's sucks. I was overjoyed my last year there when they opened the Central Market on Lovers. csb: One time I was there I saw Steve Nash with some hot side piece.- Sherrone Moore's Michigan Meltdown - Staffers, Breakups, Extortion, Cover-Ups, Firings, Knives, Assaults, Breakdowns, Arrests

I'm sure that one time they played Feliz Navidad really set him over the edge.- The Longevity Thread...

Quality satire. But in all seriousness, for God's sake let's do all we can to keep Marcel Reed at aggy.- The Longevity Thread...
I had severe flu-like symptoms for about 32 hours after my second and third COVID boosters, but it wasn't terrible. From everything I've heard about the shingles vaccine, I'm reluctant to get it, even though the long-term benefits can be worth it.- 1st Record, Cassette, CD, download

Yep. In my 30s I stopped working out. Typical complacency with marriage and kids after keeping fit throughout my 20s. I got back to it as I was approaching 40, and one of the first things I did before ever setting foot in a gym was pushups. It was humbling at first because I had done zero resistance training for several years. But as you mention, I worked up to 100 or more a day (spread out over 3-4 sets) no problem. And it didn't take long for my then-wife to notice some muscle tone and mass start to form. Eventually I got back into a gym routine with free weights and have stuck with it religiously since.- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - I'm With Stupid
Shit. Major herp derp on my end. Okay then, let me try again: I know our starting OL was garbage for much of the season, so is Arch going to want significant snaps in a meaningless bowl game behind a that same OL?- Transfer Cycle 2025-2026 - I'm With Stupid
Stupid question amnesty: I mean, I know our starting OL was garbage for much of the season, but is Arch going to want significant snaps in a meaningless bowl game behind a new OL?- Weight Loss and Exercise Thread
You don't have to try. It's effortless. But you're our favorite dick.- Weight Loss and Exercise Thread
I don't think his use of the term "uncomfortable" was the equivalent of not sufficiently exerting your body to generate a meaningful workout. I'm not a cyclist, but possibly in very cold conditions the level of exertion on a bike might not warm you up like running. I used run 10+ years ago when my body didn't fight it as much, and often I would run in 20 degree weather. After a couple minutes (in appropriate attire but not bundled like an Eskimo) my body temperature rose enough where the chill didn't bother me. I'm not sure cycling is the same. Maybe similar to lifting weights in an open garage when it's below 40 degrees. That kind of uncomfortable.- Weight Loss and Exercise Thread
Pretty brave of you posting that with Nicole potentially lurking on this thread.- I caught the cancer

My dad is a former Marine and I grew up in Marine Corps/Navy bases. My dad likes all those Navy boys. Every time he needed to go someplace to fight, those fellas always gave him a ride. Go Navy!- 1st Record, Cassette, CD, download
I was a late adaptor to CDs, and I don't even remember hearing about them or seeing them in my local music shops around the 1985 time frame. But this was one of my favorite cassettes as a kid in the mid-80s.- 1st Record, Cassette, CD, download
45: Believe It Or Not (Theme from Greatest American Hero) Cassette: Michael Jackson's Thriller (as a gift), Billy Joel's An Innocent Man (first purchase with my own money) CD: Depeche Mode's Songs of Faith and Devotion Download: No clue- Your favorite opening track on an album?
Not necessarily my favorite, but one of the best and most iconic in my opinion, on an album that is on most lists of best albums of all time. I wish I could go back in time as 12-year-old South Austin and hear this opener for the first time. It can still give me a charge. It was during the rise of the 80s hair bands, but those guys and that song kicked ass in a way that the likes of Poison, Motley Crue, Skid Row, etc. never could. - Sherrone Moore's Michigan Meltdown - Staffers, Breakups, Extortion, Cover-Ups, Firings, Knives, Assaults, Breakdowns, Arrests
