Man, going in thinking I would love this movie and left think it was just okay. Much more family/human-oriented and less “action” than Apollo 13 and The Right Stuff.
Whoever said the music and cinematography feels like Interstellar is exactly right.
Loved the Gemini and LEM landing though. The movie does a great job of showing the horrors of the early space missions. Janet Armstrong’s quote to Deke Slaton was very fitting.
This is the reason the folks at LCRA are usually pretty even-keeled about lake levels. While everyone else seemingly proclaims “the lake will never be full again!” they know it just takes 1-2 freak rainstorms 100 miles away to completely change lake levels for the next 6-12 months.
LT can go from 645’ to 670’ in a couple days.
Baylor has amazing skill players but yes, the OL and DL is turrible. The safety play is the worst in the conference too.
Brewer is a fantastic QB and awesome to watch play.
I finished S2 back in January and remember thinking that episode would be my last. Just too many things going on and with the exception of a few scenes, it was becoming painfully slow. If it wasn’t a scene involving Obergrubben Smith I found myself playing on my iPhone
A part in of me would like to watch S3 but I’ll likely pass unless the reviews are overwhelmingly positive and it’s heads and shoulders better than last season.
Interesting concept though.
I have no problem with her running but I wish these cowards would be honest for once

Fair enough. We certainly agree on #1 but I’d like if you could eleborate on 3.
Number four sucks and I think having someone as political as BK should be a disqualification factor for a position which is supposed to be apolitical, but I don’t see how it has any bearing on whether he is guilty of the accused 36 years ago.
Brief preface: I find everything about Trump and those he’s surrounded with disgusting people and a cancer to democracy.
Yesterday, I watched 5-6 hrs of the hearing. By lunch I was more or less 100% in Ford’s camp. By the time BK was finished last night, I believed almost every word of his story.
I think both are telling what they believe are the truth but I’m more inclined to side with BK due to lack of any real evidence or corroboration on Ford’s part (which sucks after 3.5 decades but is definitely part of the equation). His defensive demeanor was cute at first but grew tiresome. I’m not certain I love seeing a SPJ lose his temper so quickly, but *IF* the accusations are false, I understand his position.
I would absolutely like to see and FBI though but unfortunately we’ll never see one.
It look like we are going to finish with around 14 or 15 days in a row of rainfall. That’s pretty freaking impressive
Curious as to to how many times over the past 10-20 years that’s happened in Austin.
