That sucks for them. Very similar situation happened to us when we bought a burger joint that had a full bar. Right after we buy it the inspector comes in and tells us we will have to add a drop ceiling over the bar. Mother fucker had been just like that for years and now itās an urgent fucking situation. Cost about $6K to get it done at our place. They said dust could fall into a customers drink rom the exposed duct work above, the whole restaurant had the exposed industrial open looking ceiling. I explained that we were in fucking windy Amarillo and more dirt was going to blow in through the front door than could ever fall from the ceiling, they didnāt give a shit, said add a drop ceiling sooner than later.
@NoName I didnāt know they had problems, everything looked good to me. Wasnāt crowded at all, line was about ten deep when I got there at 12:30ish.
I think he started out just fine but as he grew his additions and other stuff was more permanent and his operation had grown to be way more than a āfood truckā.
Made some buttermilk biscuits this morning. Used lard instead of butter, best biscuits Iāve ever made. Wasnāt sure on how they would turn out so I only made a half batch, wished I would of made a whole batch. Put some apple butter on em and they were great, plain biscuit with a pat of butter is still the best biscuit.
@fattyflattie was in a mercury dealer today and asked him about a 26P, he didnāt have one. He told me he just got a prop in from Mercury that was ordered over 2 years ago. He said try B&B props in Ft. Worth, said they have hard to find stuff, not sure if they have new stuff or just refurb.
Yeah I donāt see em DOA on 183 either, Iām through Mullin every other week. You ever been to the Duren Hotel in Mullin? We used to rent it out for family reunions, itās a great place to have a reunion. We havenāt rented it in 4-5 years, I would love to have that place.
Hope if you have em that you are wanting them. What part of the county are you in? We are in the NE part of the county, Priddy area and Mt Olive cemetery. I never see any pigs, really donāt want any either.
Stainless props are hard to come by right now for sure. I have been looking for a specific prop all week too. I saw some Mercury Bravo props on eBay, not sure on the 26, I was looking for a 4 blade 24P. I was told 10 months on the one I was wanting. I need a Yamaha prop, or one that will fit a Yammy. I found one and hope to have it next week, it was just a fluke to find it.
I got skunked on Alan Henry today. I used to bass fish a lot until the twins showed up . I loved them playing ball and yes they had shit going all the time while in school. They graduated a couple years ago so I have started fishing again. Wouldnāt you know I bought a damn boat at the very peak of their market. Anyway, still have all my old gear and had a blast today. Here is my fishing pardner.
I prefer the blade shape on the bugout over the griptillian. I have a couple of Benchmade knives, one is my everyday carry and one I rarely carry. I donāt remember the model of my edc, it has the bugout style blade. The other one is a griptillion, only reason I bought it was I wanted some specific scales made for my knife and the scale guy doesnāt do them for my edc. He does great work if you ever want something unique.
