Need to be on Inks. See what looks like a public ramp at Kingsland, just don’t know if it’s possible to get up by the dam. We fished below the dam a lot when I was young, just want to revisit that area from the water. Back in the day, up by the fish hatchery, they had rental cabanas and camping spots.
Thanks fluff! I think that RV park is private , not positive. Wonder if I could put in somewhere around Horseshoe or is that going to be way to far from the dam?
I want to ease up the river and get close to the dam at Inks lake. We used to fish there a lot when I was young, back in the 70’s and 80’s maybe even earlier. Is there a public boat ramp somewhat close to there? Probably be in a bass boat so not to worried about rocks. I know up by the damn there are some huge rocks just below the surface. I’m not even sure if I can get up that far from down stream. Any help? Thanks!
The higher end scopes are more about gathering light than they are about distance IMO. They all perform on bluebird days, the top tier brands stand out in low light and or foggy conditions. This is especially true in binos and spotting scopes.
You see many pigs? I hunt in Mills County and know they are around but I never see any, or their damage. It would be fun to thin them out but I’m actually glad we don’t have any.
That cheek video makes me want to cook them again. I’ve only cooked em once and thought they were a huge pain in the ass, had no idea what I was doing. Cubing them up looks much easier.
