Maybe the dumbest post on this entire thread, and that is really fucking saying something. Congratulations, I guess.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2024: Bags Don't Beat Bankrolls
That torn achilles this board told me he had must of been really severe if they had to operate on his knee to fix it.

God the football board is full of awesomely regarded assholes. To recap…. Quinn is shitty. Malik is shitty. Season is ruined without Quinn. Malik will save the season. Malik will save us with his running. Malik can’t run. Did I miss anything?

I thought shoulder or ribs based on the hit. I don’t see it being a collar bone, and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Week 5, 2023: Kansas at Texas
This is exactly where I am at regarding this game. As soon as the final whistle sounded in Waco, I immediately started to wonder exactly how bad we would beat America's darling Jayhawks. Their only hope is to slow the game down, and play ball control offense and try to make this a 21-17 game.....unfortunately that ain't their style, and they don't have the horses up front to make that happen. I suspect they will come in fired up and ready to go, and it will take the UT offense about 1/2 a qtr to get going, but then this one turns into a boat race and the Horns have too much horsepower. Texas covers and wins going away 42-13.

Jonathon Brooks is a Bad Mother Fucker
JC was a burner and a slasher. Brooks is a physical back who has some speed. He is not a poor man's JC, he is a rich man's Keontay Ingram.

Coach Sark Press Conference 9.25 - 11:00am LHN
This entire thread is packed full of the kind of hard hitting information that makes Surly special. For those of us who couldn't listen to the press conference, reading this thread makes it seem as if we were actually in attendance. Well done Assholes!

2023 Texas Softball - Back to WCWS
I watched Hannah dominate in travel ball last year. She was deciding between us and LSU and chose the good guys! She is a good kid and a really good player. This is a big pick up

Post Bama Curse Fact or Fiction?
Their QB can play and their offensive talent is better than what Rice rolled out there. They are obviously not a juggernaut, but if Texas sleep walks, they will score.

Week 3 2023: Wyoming @ Texas
Texas will have much more of the playbook available this week than what we showed week 1. I would not be surprised to see a slow start from the good guys, but the talent difference is much to great for Wyoming to overcome. If Peasley is out, or greatly limited, Texas covers in a big way. With Peasley, I think they might keep it closer...maybe 37-16

Post Bama Curse Fact or Fiction?
Wyoming can score points and if Texas comes out flat they could keep it interesting. Hopefully Sark gets the team back on track and doesn't allow a let down.

Twilight In T-Town: The End of the Nick Saban Era
Before Saturday, I would have swore that Saban had sold his soul to the devil and would coach until he was 120 years old. During the game Saturday I noticed on several occasions that Saban had the look of a beat down old man. His comments after the game did nothing to change my mind. In years past, Saban would have publicly castrated his players for making multiple stupid mistakes and penalties, yet on Saturday he just shook his head and moved on. As we age, we all reach a point where we realize that we are not as good as we once were, and that day has come for both Bama and their beloved head coach.
